I know. The last straw for me was the love affair between Tony Stamp and Smithy. That was just taking it too far!!!
It was the threesome with Jim Carver that made me :o
All this Kerry/Smithy business is getting on my nerves. The way she keeps saying to him 'You fancy me...blah blah....admit it you fancy me....rah rah rah....you just can't admit you fancy me...etc etc' is getting boring. She fancies herself never mind Smithy fancying her. How long until she buggers off?

Oh, 'pouty lips'? She really is cringy isn't she?
Well we're currently watching episodes that went out in September 2003 and 'pouty's last episode is October 2004 so we have her for a wee while yet!

Oh no >:( Plenty of time for her to make her way through the rest of the male police officers of Sun Hill then
I've heard that there's a ratio issue with some of the series on the DVDs? Is that right? Does it make any difference?!
The 2002 series is 4.3, The 2003 series are proper 16.9 I have up to 2006, At the min still watching the 2003 series I think I'm bit further on than the drama episodes.

Thanks! Does it affect the viewability of it at all?!

No like all 4.3 dvd it's still full screen it does look a bit compressed so to speak, The 2003 looks just like we saw it on TV here the sound is also very good, I'll be glad to see the back of Cathy Bradford & Gabriel Kent those two get on my nerves:(
Is it just me or did this whole business of Eva Sharpe having an affair come out of nowhere?
Yeah. I couldn't even remember it first time round.
The show really lost the plot at this stage: Debbie "becoming" a lesbian for no obvious reason, Hunter and his non-stop manipulations, Meadows having an affair with a hooker (really!?), Cathy's terror campaign against Robbie, the Polly stuff etc. Then now we're going to have Gary's "tragic" backstory.
Thank goodness for Ramani, the only person who seemed to be doing police work.

Terry Perkins will be in the series shortly Ramani & Terry made a good team.
Just watched the ones where Meadows found out Lysette Anthony was an Escort (cracking set of jugs ), and Gary was running round the nick starkers, apart from his Helmet over his family jewels
Have they missed some out, or have i missed some ?
As when i record them to watch later on video, the episode at the end of the tape (as i always just fill a video tape and watch them over a few days while ive got another tape in recording the next lot), the end of that episode, is always caught on the beginning of the next tape, so i know where im at, but the tape ive just finished (where Mickey goes to his mothers funeral), ended where Mickey followed Meadows again to Rachaels (after he'd overheard him on the phone to her saying he was going to be late, had pastrol care to do), and he watched him going in to her house again from his car, but that bit isn't on the next tape, the next tape starts with an episode end, where Mickeys already in her house, looks like hes trying to get her dress up, and Meadows steams in and pulls him off, so looks like that could have been the one after, but ive missed it somehow
I know its been off because of the bank holiday, unless it was on, but at a different time, so i have missed a one.

That's the one. He's actually aged quite well. Must be about 14 years since The Bill.
Close enough, his last appearance was just over 15 years ago

She might even have time to move on to the women!!
Well that's true if Debbie McAllister can suddenly change sides

The area car going missing episode was hilarious.
Becker is pretty hot.
Smithy is a great character.
Interested to see how things develop with Gabriel Kent.
Ooops should have clicked on the DS link before posting!
