I would definitely welcome it back especially if Gary Cole played the Sheriff again. He was superb in that role.
I agree, I used to think he was a useless actor when I saw him in Midnight Caller. I thought he was awesome as Sheriff Buck.

That was another show that was ruined in the US by the network showing it. Just like Firefly they changed the running order making the programme make no sense.

Thankfully here in the UK channel 4 showed it in the correct order. Unfortunately the UK DVD has them in the US Airing order.

I wish it would appear on BluRay in the correct order

Yes, Firefly definitely. Just watched the 10 year anniversary panel at comic con video, made me sad.

Few other mentions, Defying Gravity, Caprica, Charlie Jade

None of the above - although if it has to be one of them then Firefly. What I want to see however is Stargate Universe brought back.

Well I've just bought both the TV series and the film solely on the recommendation of this forum so I'll hold you all responsible if I don't like it

John Doe. One of the best cliff-hangers EVER at the end of the first (and only) season and we never got to see it through !

Of the above firefly but would also like see Journey Man had a lot questions which was not answered. Also above and beyond - probably too expensive to make now.

Would be interesting if they could do something with in the Babylon 5 Universe. Bet you all forgot about that... Haha. .

Did not forget it - however that story was at least finished. The other thing about B5 is that although it was a pioneer with it's use of CGI - it kind of stayed still and now the likes of BSG, Stargate etc are well ahead. Compare for example the Lost Tales with Stargate.

Actually agree with you - I think they could do something different with in the B5 universe. Had so many colonies with Mars, mining places that they could have done other stories. Brought in new writers maybe not focus on B5 but one of the smaller stations.

There was TV series back in the 1990s can't think of it now but I believe it was done by Ridley Scott or his brother and based on Bladerunner.. But can't remember the title.... But that was interesting idea..

Mark Shepard?

I'd agree with Odyssey 5, American Gothic and Space: Above and Beyond in particular.

Odyssey 5 was smart and funny and had an intriguing premise and a good cast. It was the first thing I saw Sebastian Roche in, and when we spot him in other things we still happily refer to him as Kurt

"Someone's at the door..." American Gothic was genuinely creepy at times, with wonderful performances from the adult cast (esp Gary Cole) and an incredible performance by Lucas Black.

I loved S:AAB. They showcased the main characters really well and it ended just as big revelations were coming about the war and the enemy they were fighting. So frustrating not to know where they would have taken it next!

Going further back, I was spitting mad when UFO was canned in favour of Space 1999. And I hated the way they ended Sapphire & Steel.

I liked Journeyman too, and Day Break which was about a cop reliving the same day over and over and trying to get to a different outcome. It had a lot of humour, and even had the guy taking a day off like O'Neill from SG1 in the time loop episode Starred Taye Diggs with Moon Bloodgood, Mitch Pileggi and Adam Baldwin - worth a look.

Invasion was just (finally) getting interesting when they cancelled it, Threshold had great characters and Flashforward had a lot of wasted potential.
