I'm re-reading all of Raymond E Feist's 'Riftwar Saga' as a lead up to reading the latest and final book, Magician's End, which has just been released - in the last couple of weeks so far I have read:

The Magician
Silverthorne
Darkness at Sethanon

Daughter of the Empire
Servant of the Empire
Mistress of the Empire

Prince of the Blood
The King's Buccaneer

Shadow of a Dark Queen
Rise of a Merchant Prince
Rage of a Demon King
Shards of a Broken Crown

Krondor the Betrayal
Krondor the Assassins

and am currently nearly finished
Krondor Tear of the Gods

and am about to move on to
Jimmy and the Crawler

After that there will be anther 14 to go including Magician's End

Die Trying - Lee Child.

The second Jack Reacher book I've read and I'm beginning to find the character just a little too perfect - physically and mentally he seems superior to everyone. I half expect him to wear his underpants on the outside of his spandex tights and wear a cape

I prefer my heroes a little flawed and more human.

'Gone Girl'. I avoided it for ages because it was so hyped, but I'm more than halfway through and really enjoying it.

I've decided to read Witchstorm, book two of the banned and the banished series. I've had them so long, but never got past reading the first one (read multiple times) as never had time the last couple of years.

I can't find the first in the series, so will continue where I left of, as have recently rekindled my love of reading.

I'm about halfway through and I'm struggling to be honest.
I've given up on too many books this year, though, so I'm determined to finish it.

I haven't got that far but it does seem a bit of an identikit formula to some of his previous ones. I'll finish it though, I very rarely ditch a novel halfway through

Started reading In The Woods - Tana French. Enjoying it so far, even though the main character is getting on my wick a bit.

Fallen by Karin Slaughter. Very good, really gripping. At the time of posting this message, I find myself wanting to go back to it, only having 60-odd pages left to read, simply cos I want to find out how it ends!
