I'd say there are probably quite a number of people who listen to the entire show, for example if that is the Radio station of choice in the workplace.
Been listening to Steve Wright In The Afternoon since it was on Radio 1 and love it. Doesn't worry me in the slightest if bits are pre recorded. Gets us through the afternoon at work.

Yeah but the are also loads of people who listen to it in the car and so forth, I know that's what I do.
