BBC or ITV need a hard hitting children/teen drama!

We once had Grange Hill... Byker Grove and Children's Ward!!

All in which told stories in a sometimes controversial way! But viewers were hooked! Now we dont have anything.. All we get now is sci fi adventures of comedy slap stick stuff..

We need a 5pm, 30 minute, twice weekly drama! Running for 10 weeks, in a way that stories can be standalone as well as continuing!

Are the days of hard hitting kids drama behind us?

Thoughts on this??

Can I add BBC Parliament, they all act like kids on that.

The best one is PMs questions, they all act like hormonal teenagers then, screaming and shouting.

Waterloo Road is ending so kinda defeats the object... Plus i'd only class series.1-3 as hard hitting!

Unfortunately those days are gone, neither BBC or ITV are going to invest in any type of new drama/soap at 5pm, neither barley invest anything to heavy before 9pm most nights now. I also highly doubt there would be an audience for it, when I was a teen then yes the likes of GH and BG were must see but these days there are so many more options.

Id like to see repeats of Heartbreak High on the BBC, that was always good.

    I like it!

And, like kids, they usually get it wrong!
