    Pffft jeez its hard.

E.T. Still makes we cry Its a pure classic

Saving Private Ryan was the first war movie I actually felt fear and nearly came out with shell shock.

Jurassic Park was a first and Epic time you actually believed you were watching Dinosaurs - unfortunately spoilt by the following films.

    Shindlers list is good

    Hook was magical

Close Encounter's was so well directed and shot.

    Jaws is too dated

    I dunno

    Jurassic Park, without doubt.

Saving Private Ryan, the Indie movies, Jaws and E.T. are probably the only other Spielberg movies I rate really highly (I hope I haven't forgotten any).

I do like some/most of his other films, but they don't come close to the above films, in my opinion.

Close Encounters and Jaws for me, not necessarily in that order. I can't decide between the two, I just love them both. An honourable mention goes to Jurassic Park and the Indie films, except for the last one.

This, except for me with Indy it's "except for the 2nd one".

    Oh, and I'd add Schindler.

Jurassic Park is my favourite film of all time. It is almost a perfect film in my opinion, and was delighted to finally own it (as part of the trilogy) on Blu-ray. :D

E.T. is a close second from Spielberg, and the only other film of his I'd rank in My Top 10 of all time. It was an amazing piece of work, not yet matched for its epic sentimentality in my opinion. :)

I think Jaws is quite overrated. I appreciate that it's a good film, but I just don't get what the big deal is about it...still, each to their own :)

There are a great number more of Spielberg films I greatly enjoy :D

    Jaws

Classic 3 act screenplay, nevermind the dodgy effects, it's got adventure, a bit of blood and guts, shocks, it's a buddy movie, not a wasted second, no padding, and two great quotes.

    " We're gonna need a bigger boat "

    " Now what ! "

Hook and and War of the Worlds are two of Spielberg's worst movies  Minority Report was ok, nothing special. SPR and JP are awesome though
