Most disturbing video you've seen online?

Not porn, and no posting links, but what is the worst video you've seen?

2 stand out for me, one is a US senator who pulls a pistol from a brown envelope in front of a crowded room of press and shoots himself in the head.

2nd one is a hockey goalie who gets caught in neck by a hockey blade and it severs his neck.

Some brutal stuff online.

The first gruesome video I ever saw on tinterweb was footage of a bunch of serbs torturing a croatian prisoner (or the other way around) by tying him to a pair of trucks and then, eventually, tearing him in half.

Also, the death of Nick Berg was pretty horrific to watch.
More than anything, I think it was the way that releasing the video removed all his dignity that I found truly offensive.

Probably that guy who was on here the other day asking us to rate his singing.

The first bad ones I saw was the senator one as well as people getting sucked into airplane engines, helicoptor rotor blades or having their heads blown off (courtesy of Ogerish and Faces of Death).

The worst one ever though was a Islamic beheading of an American hostage back in 2003. That one made me phisically sick and my stomach has never been the same since.

Oh and there was a one where a woman runs into a train and gets thrown along the platform.

Why would someone even want to watch that?

The one where the guy shoves the glass jar up his ringpiece and then it shatters is one of the least pleasant ones I've seen.

The hostage getting his head cut off with a rusty blade (tho' I only lasted about 10 seconds).

My brother said the same thing, he actually watched it before going to work, it was so bad he had to call in late so he could calm down.

There's probably a few rotten.com videos that I've put out of my mind as well.

I really hate things that stick in my mind - I haven't even watched 2 girls 1 cup.

The US gunship attacks on some journalists and an elderly Irish gentleman talking about the abuse he suffered at the hands of some RC priests.

The Dagestan Massacre video is the worst. And of the Iraq beheadings, the worst is probably the murder of Korean Kim Sun Il, because he cries in the video and begs to go home to Korea. Very sad. It is comforting to know that Al Zarqawi got his eventually when the US flattened his house with a huge bomb dropped on it.

Wow! That didn't shock or disturb me at all.

The hostage beheading videos. I wish I'd never watched them now but at the time you're curious.

I always think that there is something wrong with people who intentionally seek out disturbing videos online.

Lack of imagination possibly. Nothing I watch could ever come close to the horrors that my mind can conjure up.

It was pretty shocking how incompetent it all was.
There were maybe 2 or 3 people carrying AKs and the Apache hosed a group of a dozen or so people.
They then hosed a taxi-driver carrying a minivan full of kids who stopped to help a survivor.
A HMMWV then ran over a dead (hopefully) body when it arrived on the scene.
The Apache then destroyed a building as civilians walked past it.
They then fired another missile into the building while bystanders attempted to rescue people from the rubble.

Not particularly graphic or gruesome but hardly the US army's finest hour.

Not really, but I can understand how it may shock some people who don't understand the chaos that is war.

    I agree.

Someone posted a thread on here the other day with some links that they said showed a little girl being abused. The more worrying thing was that a number of FMs clicked the links to have a look. Weird.

I'm not sure having an imagination like that is necessarily a good thing.

That 2 girls 1 cup video is still embedded in my mind and I would urge people who haven't seen it not to give it a look either as I feel like I've lost a piece of my innocence having watched it. Still to this day whenever I hear that piece of classical music featured in the video I feel an urge to puke.

    It didn't shock me either.

I think you failed to comprehend the OP as no mention was made of shocking videos.

TBH I've never been the same since.

I can't even watch horror movies now. :( The Saw series is a big no-no for me and I used to love movies like that.

IIRC the links did not state the girl was being abused. The pics were supposedly of Maddie McScam with a family and someone was supposed to have taken a picture of her with this family.

As it turned out the pics were not exactly what the OP had described.

    It was awful.
