Nearly all the media outlets are using it. How stupid are they?

The moron who claimed it be a picture from London must be laughing.

Look at the street signs on the left FFS. Since when, in the name of God, did London have diamond shaped street signs.

    It is real.

It's from Croydon. They're tram signs

Here is the corner on Street view:
    http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Church+Street+croydon&hl=en&ll=51.373837,-0.104574&spn=0.004246,0.011362&sll=39.787886,-89.941313&sspn=21.373495,46.538086&t=h&layer=c&cbll=51.373943,-0.105052&panoid=H3io4SY17KYCfCNlqRAa8g&cbp=12,138.08,,1,2.91&z=17

You can't get the same angle as in the photo, as the street is tram only, but you can clearly match the chemist shop on the right and you can see the back of the diamond signs on the the black lampost in the foreground

A lot thought it was fake, me included... but it would seem that it is a real photograph of a terrified woman.

I lived in Croydon till I was 18 and know the area well - if you 'swivel' the photo round you'll see Reeves Corner with the shop that was destroyed :(

Some people here obviously know much better than you. Before calling people "stupid" and "morons" it is best to get you facts correct first.

In the grand scheme of moronic things that've happened over the last few days, I hardly think making a simple mistake makes the top of the list.

He was referring to the veracity of the o.p, despite the fact it's been confirmed as real since last night.

    Pfft!

You're branding somebody as a "moron" because they made a mistake.

Get over yourself. You're not perfect.

I think you'll find it's the OP who first started calling people morons and stupid over making a mistake.

(and a mistake which they didn't actually make)

That terrifying picture will sum up the riots for me. Ordinary people left to the mercy of a minority of violent thugs.

Yes, where THERE have I declared "people" morons?

I'm talking about the MORON (notice the non-existing "s" at the end of that word) who distributed the picture.

Why would people believing that picture to be real be laughing? I'm talking about the HOAXER laughing.

    DO. YOU. UNDERSTAND.

    Uhuh,

The OP made a mistake. Branding them as a "moron" for doing so serves no useful purpose except to antagonise. :)

But it is a picture of London, something you said only moronic individuals claimed in your OP.

    Who is the hoaxer?

Nope, you still haven't understood a single word I've said.

Re-read the OP and then re-read my previous post to you.

Just a question, not having a dig...

What are you arguing about now? You were wrong in your OP.

What are you talking about? You claimed the picture was not from London, it's been shown that it IS from London. So who is the 'hoaxer' you speak of?
