Can we cancel the Ashes and just keep playing NZ? What a fun set of games against such genuinely likeable tourists.

It would be nice if we could play a 3 or 4 test series against New Zealand. I can't think of a single player in their squad that I dislike and that is unusual
Solid opening for the Aussies in their first warm up game at Canterbury
348/3 with the top 4 all passing 50
wasn't that much of a weakened kent side from what i can see as well
ballance is a worry for me for us , he really needs to get some time under his belt in the next 2 weeks as he has looked so out of nick this year and its dangerous to be picking him based on what he did 10-11 months ago rather than his current form
In a move to give bowlers a bit of breathing room in 50-overs cricket, the ICC board has decided to do away with catching fielders in the first ten overs, get rid of the batting Powerplay, and allow five fielders outside the 30-yard circle in the last ten overs of an ODI innings. The other notable change that will take place from July 5 will see free hits awarded for all no balls in ODI and T20 internationals, not just when bowlers overstep.
New Zealand Cricket has agreed to play a day-night Test against Australia as part of a deal that will resume regular cricket between the two neighbours after a gap of four years and provide a significant financial leg-up for New Zealand.
The inaugural, experimental day-night Test will be played at Adelaide Oval with a pink Kookaburra ball in the third match of the series between Australia and New Zealand, between November 27 and December 1.
Interesting program on Radio five live last night at 9pm. Michael Vaughan interviewing/chatting with Mike Brearley. Worth catching up with on they BBC website

They've had some trouble getting the right type of ball, but really more effort should have been put into this. A lot of people follow Test cricket, on the radio, internet, newspapers, but they don't go to matches because of the timing of the games. Day/night matches is a a step in the right direction. Now, if they could get the first days of the matches beginning at the weekend, (instead of on a Wednesday like the First Ashes Test next week ) and get the pricing of tickets right.....

is a great, loved watching him, his average when he didn't keep was phenomenal, pretty incredible otherwise, such a silky bat.
Another big void for Sri Lanka to fill
(Looked alright in the hospitality suite on Friday evening)
Do they work arounf the Counties, so that over a amount of years, every County gets one.
Allott is so dull.
I prefer Paul. Charles seemed to be trying to stoke up aggro for the sake of it.
he did seem to want to put the journos on the spot.
why didn't you report the ICC Meeting ?......:D

Happy with that
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
It should have been the future years ago

Very pleased for Rashid. Players like him need to be persevered with.
Johnson, Starc and Hazlewood?
i think they will try to get harris in if he is even close to being 100% fit , not sure who you would leave out tho , good problem for them to have
