What are the social "rules" about a transwoman hitting a woman

There is generally a long standing double standard (whether it be fair or unfair) that men should never hit women, no matter how provoked, and the same does not go for a woman hitting a man, a man hitting a man or a woman hitting a woman. But what is the "rule" about a person with the mind of a woman but the strength and body of a man, such as kellie? Would there be the same outrage if kellie were to hit frenchie?

A lot of people are saying "kellie became frank when she squared up to frenchie" and I find it surprising that having lived 50 years as a man, presumably having it deeply engrained that it would be socially unacceptable for him (as frank) to hit a woman in any circumstance, that kellie would later say to Leslie that she nearly lost it with frenchie.

Legally 'he' is still a man as he has not yet had surgery , so if Kellie had hit Frenchy then she would be prosecuted as a man. She became he again in those few minutes, Frank appeared and all of Kellies womanly attributes disappeared.

man or woman, no-one has a right to hit someone else.

As soon as you resort to violence, you lose any argument and any respect.

I would hope the law doesn't discriminate on sex/gender (unfortunately we know judges have their biases) but I'm wondering about social rules. Also do you think then that kellie would've acted the same way towards frenchie (or another woman) when she was frank?

Kellie is now a sweet old lady. Frenchy is (supposedly) a young woman. It would look bad if Frenchy hit the grandma if the two ever had a catfight/wig snatching session.

    It is known.

There are no social rules...there is common law & statute law. Assault is causing 'harm' a 'lawful' offence against the person act......regardless of gender.

Makes no difference if you are male or female you shouldn't hit anyone however Kellie didn't hit Frenchie so the question is irrelevant in regards to big brother

Her womanly attributes disappeared? Because women are never aggressive/violent?

Scratching is permitted and Handbagging is the weapon of female choice, but fist-punching in the nose is NOT On.........Anyone else here hoping for a REAL 'Fight Night' to kick off?? These Americans seem itching to get stuck in.

FMs may recall the old Jerry Springer days. where pre- and post-op TS guests used to proliferate. Countless times a large male in female attire would accost, insult and physically attack much smaller females. Whenever this happened Security would leap in and restrain the the larger party. Even when a fight was instigated by the female, Security would step in, fast. Jerry would say, you can't hit this lady - you're a man.

I wonder how Frank would have reacted had Frenchie been one of the male HMs. I think the only one he'd stand up to is tiny Leslie. And Leslie would probably be game enough to verbally savage him!

Violence is violence and would be lawfully treated as a crime but socially, it is still a man hitting a woman and more unacceptable than a woman on woman assault IMO.

I'm trying, really trying to accept Kellie, but I think there is something sinister underneath which isn't going to change. She may be trying to escape this side of her, but you can't run away from yourself!
He was a proper ruthless bastard as a man, you can't just negate all that by becoming a woman!
Now that now Frank is Kellie she thinks all her past sins are resolved, it doesn't work like that.
I personally think that she is the same money orientated aggressive manipulator she was as a man.

I don't think at over 60 and 5ft4 Kellie will have the strength of your average man.

Agree. Unless it's used in self defence, or the defence of loved ones and personal property.

Just because you become a woman, it doesn't automatically mean your past history as a man is completely wiped out. It's not about "escaping" from anything, it's about accepting you were born the wrong gender.

Kellie Maloney may well turn out to be the same "proper ruthless bastard" that Frank Maloney was, but only time will tell.

Has she explicitly said this ?. Or have you simply made an assumption that you know what she is thinking ?

surgery isn't the legal criteria, living as a woman for 2 years will be sufficient for the legal change.

hitting anyone no matter what gender is wrong and an assault , and if resorted to, you have already lost

Frank/Kellie is finding it hard to distinguish between aggressive man and coy woman.

Jason. Are you the one who has no sexuallity? Sorry if I'm wrong, Your name rings a bell.

I think the OP asks a really good question. When my SO and I watched the scene with Kellie and Frenchie we were both taken a back, because the person who we had come to accept as a woman suddenly behaved very much like a man.

I think the incongruity of that as much as the threat made it quite a scary scene.

So Kellie feels like she is a she. OK I get that bit. But it seems the male impulses haven't gone. Do they ever go? Does removal of the testes and hormone treatment remove years of socialisation to behave as a male. I don't know the answer to that.

Also if under stress the instinct is to behave as a male what does that tell us about the feeling that individual has to be in the wrong gender. We go back to our core personas when stretched to our emotional limits so .. well I will leave that hanging as food for thought.

Finally, even completely transitioned to a woman, will he not still retain the superior strength of a man. Men are simply biologically stronger then women. Although I accept there are some very strong women and some very physically weak mean. But going by the overwhelming majority even the little puny ones are stronger than the average woman. Can that superior muscle power be taken away following reassignment surgery.

Kellie would be receiving female hormones, not Testosterone. That's IF he is on hormones at all. I can't see one feminine trait in this self-pitying mess.
