  I think the start date will be Thurs 17 May. It had been (apart from series 1) started on the last Friday in May I think but for BB7 they brought is forward ane moved it to a Thursday.
  
  I think a lot depends on what ITV schedhule against is. Last year they wanted BB to start before X Factor Battle of the Stars and Love Island so people would be hooked. Plus, it was a world cup year as well.

  Actually, BB4 and BB3 started on the penultimate week of May, not the last. And here are the dates of the first evictions for proof
  
  Big Brother 3 (2002):
  Live Launch Show - Friday 24 May
  First Eviction Show - Friday 31 May
  
  Big Brother 4 (2003)
  Live Launch Show - Friday 23 May
  First Eviction Show - Friday 30 May
  
  I think it is because these dates are in the 20s, which makes us think it is the last week.
