Apparently at the same time one of the executions was being filmed for that scene, the Mafia boss Joe Columbo was shot 3 times at a rally. The movie production team had been dealing with him.

Oh fascinating. I did not know that before.

I've so many scenes from the epic space scenes from 2001: A Space Odyssey, the baptism from The Godfather, the car chase from Bullitt but tonight I'm in the mood for some subtle humor from Mr Mel Brooks

I'd only just found it out myself:o I'd been watching a documentary about the Mafia's involvement in the Godfather.

I'm one of the few who rates FAFDM over TGTBATU. The van Cleef-Eastwood team is very entertaining
I thoroughly agree. I think TGTBTU is the weakest of the three. I saw FFOD and FAFDM on the same night. Afterwards I found it somewhat confusing thinking about them. Overall I would say that FAFDM is my fav.

However I was looking for a scene FFAD when I cam across the clip that I decided to show.

The final duel in For A Few Dollars More has to be one of the greatest sequences put to film. The background story of why the two men are standing there, the music, even right upto the cocky move at the end. The whole movie has to be seen but here's the ending. Enjoy :)

Agreed.I'm in the minority who prefers For A Few Dollars More too.Great plot and music. And the climax is tense, touching and humourous at the same time.Clint riding off into the sunset with a wagon load of dead bodies is priceless.

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in their first scene together, which was the coffee shop scene in Heat.

    Here's a few of mine -
Marked for Death - Screwface has got to be one of the best movie villains of all time, this is my favourite Seagal movie too.
Menace 2 Society revenge scene - from one of my favourite films ever, the scene speaks for itself.
Mo Money - Johnny spazzes out in the shop - it's hilarious as you know he's only putting on an act.
Casino - Nicky cusses the blackjack dealer - some of the funniest lines from Casino are in this scene:D
Gangster No 1 - Lenny and Freddy in the bar - I love Lenny's weird 'dance' and his mannerisms.

Long Good Friday final scene - Harold's face says it all
Rita Sue and Bob too - 'Send em up Manningham lane!:D

Just out of curiosity, what do you think happens to Harold after the film ends? I know as the writer told me what the film ending was actually going to be and it wasn't that. It was supposed to go on a little bit more.
I won't say what it is as it will spoil the film for so many people. Just curious if you were right or wrong lol

The final scene from If.... on Founders Day is a personal favourite. This needs to be understood in context!

The final scene from Michael Mann's Last Of The Mohicans is pretty epic, particularly Jodhi's May 'jump'.

If we are in a minority then fine. I've always thought 'For a Few Dollars More' was the strongest of those movies. The final scene is perfect.

Yep.No one will ever convince me that Good,Bad,Ugly is the better film. Dollars More is far superior IMO. Just the opening 20 minutes alone, establishing the three main characters in unrelated incidents, contains my favourite scenes from any spaghetti western.

There is a very classic scene between Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall in The Big Sleep where they use innuendo to convey the romantic tension:

The scene where they visit the ice cream parlour in Girl Interrupted and the wife of the professor Susannah had an affair with turns up with her daughter and proceeds to have a go at her. Lisa steps in and defends Susannah. Some great lines in that scene..... For example

Professor's wife: (to Lisa) Was I talking to you?
Lisa: No you were spitting on me so mellow f***ing out!"

Lisa: Hey, some advice, okay: just don’t point your f**king finger at crazy people.

Angelina Jolie was fantastic in that film.

A scene I really enjoyed recently was in Django Unchained, and it's not an obvious one, one with bloody violence or even clever dialogue, but what I thought was a hilarious scene worthy of Mel Brooks Blazing Saddles, where the 'klan' type guys are complaining about not being able to see out of the eyeholes in their hoods, and the guy whose wife had stayed up all night to make the hoods starts getting peeved off at their complaining...

In Lord of the rings part 3 when the Mount Doon explodes, people believes that Frodon is dead and then they finally realize that he's still alive, with background music

Avatar : Neytiri saves Jake Sully in the wild towards the end of the film and they both say : 'I see you'
