Got to laugh at a radio Newcastle presenter, saying Coronation Street should have won the best soap and Emmerdale winning was a shock, haha. Why? Emmerdale has been far better quality for the last few years. Not sure why some people begrudge Emmerdale the win, when Coronation Street have won loads of times.
Great for Emmerdale, and nice to see Mike Parr, Ryan Hawley, Amelia Flanagan and the Val/Eric partnership all getting recognised, they've been amazing.
No idea how that Ross/Debbie crap won an award, but never mind.

As to the Ross/Debbie best affair award, I suspect all the Ross fans voted for them, particularly with Michael Parr winning so many individual awards. I'm just pleased the awful Robron didn't win it.
