Today I almost set fire to my flat. I wanted to make Welsh Rarebit, but the filaments on my oven grill, which I have not used before, had grease on them and consequently caught fire...quite seriously. I panicked and tried to smother them with a tea towel, which caught fire aswell.
Got up early for work,got ready , went out, waiting for bus to come, didn't come due to road being closed with the floods etc, standing around still waiting for it, came home in the end, phoned boss to say couldn't get in, she phoned me back to see if i could go in later jobs,, said ok..had to walk right into town to catch the bus..did jobs and came home..had tea, then put xmas tree and decs up whilst watching the soaps..did a bit of ab rolling..on here now, and am tired ..been rather chaotic round here
Did 6.5 km on the cross trainer, finished and submitted a piece of work that was due in at lunchtime, had a haircut. That's a busy day by my standards.
I've done wonders today... Xmas shopping finished! Took a parcel to the post office, cleaned the house and put up the xmas tree, decorations and lights. All with a xmas do hangover! I'm flagging now mind...
Today not much, but yesterday I sat in a hospital admissions lounge for five & a half hours waiting to go to the theatre for an operation only to have it cancelled.
sorted out my wardrobe and thrown few clothes out..all my small clothes back in wardrobe now ..done nowt after that just watched Dirty Dancing , put some washing on and out on line and now on here..
Woke up.

This is one of those increasingly rare days where I don't actually have to do anything or be anywhere. I don't even plan on showering. I shall wallow in my own filth. Bliss.
Just finished putting up the Christmas tree at my mums, which should be a fun experience but she has OCD so it turns into more of a tyrannical regime of placement of baubles then a Christmassy family event.
