Caught up on this week's episodes, apart from today's.

Re the poo in the toilet:

    1. Did Mark do it in an act of revenge?
    2. For £28 a night, I'd expect a shit in the toilet.

Years ago a friend of mine stayed in a hostel in Aviemore and complained to the manager that there was a shit in the toilet.

The manager said "where would you expect to find it - in the sink?"

    Served friend right for complaining...

    Excellent response!

Update on Hugh Begbie (last week on CDWM - B&B in Ardrossan, Scotland):-

Interviewed in local paper this week, retired policeman Hugh said he wasn't really bothered whether he won or lost! Re the rusty pole he said "What do you expect it's a seaside town with salty air!"

His business is still up for sale - he is moving to a farmhouse a few miles away near another town. He said he hoped the show would give him extra publicity to help the sale.

yep,,,it was a surprise, they seemed to be friendly with everyone and didnt really have that much to moan about, not enough to underpay by what they did.

They were a new breed of gameplayers :D:D, they were under the radar. Stealth Gameplayers :D

Was really disappointed with those two. Obviously nice to the face but 'stab you in the back' to win kind of couple. I think I preferred Kate over those two now. And her B&B (apart from the bed sizes) was at least as good as theirs - but for less money.

I like Marianne. She reminds me of a German friend of mine who is shockingly blunt but hilarious. (Didn't catch her nationality.)

The hosts seem nice but I wouldn’t want a shared bathroom, and I don’t like the idea of ordering breakfast the night before.

That is the one thing I hate about this show. I love fried breakfasts and now what a large workmans brekkie ...:D
