Clip of POTD on Comic Relief?

I'm sure I read somewhere that there was going to be one (a "If you pledge X amount of money we'll show the clip" deal) but a quick look around the interweb just now didn't bring any confirmation.

Maybe I just dreamed it?

    Can't say I've seen anything about it but it's certainly something that could happen.

    Maybe the precredits sequence as with "The Next Doctor" on CiN.

    would it be ready? I know they have been filming but I guess there's a loads of editing/production etc etc that goes on after the filming. I guess they could have a clip ready-that would be soooo cool!

    I'm sure they could get a clip sorted. It was ages ago that they started shooting it. Maybe a scene without any CG.

    Isn't Tennant doing some presenting? Maybe they could start off with Matt Smith being shooed off by DT - "Oyy, clear off, I'm not dead yet".

    I'm sure I read that there WILL be a preview during Comic relief, although I don't think there was a stipulation about raising enough money.

    That would be cool!

    Apparently DT is presenting between 7 and 8, according to another member (who shall remain nameless incase she has it wrong!)

    I'd forgotten that there was going to be an SJA mini episode so I'm not sure if they would do that and show some of PotD.

    That would be funny....:D

    But even if Matt isn't on the show....I still won't be suprised if DT makes a joke about something along the lines of "if you were expecting 11...tough luck....."

    I agree. I think that people are getting their hopes up over nothing in this thread. I think chances are we would know by now if we were getting a clip from POTD, tbh.

    Assuming it will be the case because DT is presenting part of the show is a bit of a leap, in all honesty.

    I'd say people should tune in hope rather than expectation....

    and not throw a tantrum if and when nothing is shown...;)

    As you all know it's Red Nose Day on Friday and David will be presenting the first hour of Comic Relief.
    The schedule for David's hour of the show has now been revealed but please do bear in mind that as this is a live show times etc are subject to change:

    7:00pm David Tennant and Davina McCall kick of the fundraising extravaganza. The fun begins with a special edition of Harry Hill's TV Burp, The Saturdays performing their Comic Relief single and Ronnie Corbett landing in a Sarah Jane Adventure.

    7:30pm David and Davina go head to head as they take to the Mastermind chair, Outnumbered kids outsmart the adults, and there are highlights from Let's Dance For Comic Relief.

    Sounds like no clip from Planet of the dead but David in the Mastermind chair should be excellent :D -Doctor Who or Shakespeare as his specialist subject i'm betting :D.

    They might yet surprise us with a little POTD clip during David's hour though but with Sarah Jane being introduced by David i'm thinking maybe not :) i'm hopeing we'll see a David/Davina sketch during their hour though :).

    David is a really good presenter. He has a big ego which is nicely surrounded by an even bigger sense of modesty, so he gets the enthusiasm and comic timing spot on but you still get the sense that he's doing it for the audience rather than for his own kicks - which of course is perfectly apt for Comic Relief.
