Argos watch insurance

Does anyone know if Argos watch insurance would still be valid if i was to engrave the watch? Their cover includes a replacement watch or full refund if broken/damaged within the 3 years but i'm worried engraving would void this?

I've read the small print and cannot see any reference to engraving and have emailed Argos direct, but still waiting for their reply. Grateful for any experience on this, please (or with any other high street jeweller).

It shouldn't, but you can never tell with insurance companies, best wait till you hear from them. If they say "it's no problem" make sure you keep a copy of the email etc...

I'm more baffled that someone's actually been conned into buying one of those near-useless product insurance scams...
