Stations that have given you a shout-out or request/dedication. For me:

Radio 2 - requests twice on breakfast whilst JW was covering

Radio Wales - shout out on Adam Walton evening show

Radio Trent/Leicester Sound - spoke to John Shaw on air on Talkback prog

Manx Radio - request on Saturday rock prog

I'm sure many of you will have a lot more interesting ones:)

Caroline North - Daffy Don Allen played Judy In Disguise by John Fred

RNI - Daffy Don read out my competition entry on the Country Jamboree

Piccadilly Radio - Phil Wood said I had a long piece of string on my cocoa tin ( I was hearing the signal in Mid Wales)

Beacon Radio - Mike Baker (I think) competition. I was the only one to identify the track Pickin' Up The Pieces by Poco and won a double LP - California Gold with Mamas & Papas,
    Steppenwolf etc

WWCR short wave station - had a mention on their country music service World Wide Country Radio. They now seem to have dropped this in favour of 100% religious programming.

Atlantic 252 - the Sea Wolf read out some of my jokes e.g. "How do you tell if your girlfriend is ticklish ? - Give her a test tickle"

BBC Radio Four - Eddie Mair didn't actually read out my real name. When Jeremy Clarkson raised the wrath of the Mexicans over his stereotyping. Eddie Mair asked whether "national stereotypes are funny". I e-maile "If national stereotypes are funny then I'm a Dutchman - signed Hertz Van Rental"

Manx Radio - competition entry on Chris Wiiliams' Carnaby Street programme.

and that's all folks (I think)

96.4FM The Wave - multiple Numerous requests, couple of competitions.
Big L - around 20 times plus been on air numerous times.
    Nation - 3 times
BBC Radio Wales - twice had twitter updates read out.

And I'm sure there's more but can't think right now.

    :) Mark

    I do switch around.

Radio 2 (once on Alex Lester's show)
6 Music (twice on Hawkins - once my name was mispronounced - and twice on Keaveny)
XFM (once on Pete Donaldson's show)
Absolute (once on the OC's show)

    Outside the UK:
    KEXP Seattle
Triple J (a lot of times)

And in my hometown, Manila, a bunch of radio stations that have ceased to exist... and one that still does, which I have stopped listening to.

BBC World Service. I wouldn't settle for anything less than global coverage.

I've had my name mentioned over the years on Peak FM, an 80s programme that was in the early 00's networked across the BBC North stations and a few weeks ago on BBC Radio Northampton

A few over the years, but they're not worth mentioning compared to:-

A request played by Tony Blackburn on Radio Caroline in 1965 for my birthday. :)

btw: It was 'Yesterday Man' - Chris Andrews.

Beacon - numerous occasions in the late 80s/early 90s.

I've had texts read out by Edith Bowman (Radio 1) and Kate Lawler (Kerrang).

I also won a competition with Mark Dennison on the Retro Countdown on the ex-GWR network!
