I think that it is impossible not to like Kylie Minogue! Even those who say they don't like her secretly do really!
Agreed I'm a big Kylie fan so maybe I'm biased but even if somebody doesn't like her music, I find it hard to find why someone wouldn't like her personality.

Olly Murs, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hiddleston and Gary Barlow for the blokes...don't seem to take themselves too seriously and do a lot for charities and stuff.
For me, the most likeable "celebs" are ones who are actually talented, with proper acting/singing careers, and keep their private life private. So with that in mind, some people who I am impressed by when it comes to their public conduct, talent, or just because they seem fun:
Kate Bush
David Bowie
Hugh Jackman
Billie Piper
David Tennant
Matt Smith
Idris Elba
Naomi Harris
Jon Hamm
Lana Del Rey
The lads from One Direction
Matt Cardle (this will be an unpopular opinion because he used to spout off but he's calmed down a lot since signing to another label)
Mel C
Leona Lewis
I was thinking about this thread this morning, Molly and also thought of Matt Smith, David Tennant and Hugh Jackman.
Plus:
Emma Thompson
Miriam Margolyes
Dame Judi Dench
Maggie Smith
Katie Piper
Lisa Riley (met her some years ago- she was lovely- much calmer than her on screen persona)
Julie Walters
Ant & Dec
David Jason (although I can't stand his Del Boy character)
Nick Lyndhurst
My new 'hero' is David Emanuel. Known of him for years (ever since he and his ex-wife designed Diana's wedding dress) but what a lovely man he showed himself to be in the jungle.
Also think the ventriloquist Nina Conti is lovely, after seeing a self-made documentary. She's a bit bonkers but I think you have to be if you're into puppets. Also helps that I like her mdad, Tom Conti.

Couldn't agree more with these choices. They are all so talented/inspiring and also seem like people who would be great to have as friends in real life.

Mmm, very good choices, there!
I'd add Paul O'Grady.
As for the girls
Ellie Golding, Nicole Sherzinger, Little Mix.
Me either! And I don't secretly like her and nor am I jealous of her before anyone trots out that gem.
Michael Palin
Ant & Dec
Sir Ian McKellen

Matt Lucas is a thoroughly nice guy as I can personally testify.
