stupid question:

entered http://192.168.01.1 and it asks for username and password

on the bottom of the old modem and also the new super hub 2 modem I've got the password but no user name

Before installing the new hub I want to log into the old one to see what setting I made, but can't for the life of me remember which of the multiple codes and wordings is the username.

Can someone please tell me where to look for the username, as I don't fancy ringing up, only to find out after 15mins that it's right there on the modem.

Unless you've changed it, the usual username for most routers will be admin or administrator

I've never come across 01.1 at the end, it's usually 1.1 or 0.1 at the end.

No idea if the following is up to date or relevant to you but... http://help.virginmedia.com/system/selfservice.controller?CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&ARTICLE_ID=3739

    (1) blame my vrappy typing, meant to put .0.1 but didn't
    (2) admin works a treat :yay:

    thanx yawl.

I have a wifi radio set up to work with my current modem/router/virgin thingie but after an accidentally dunking in the bath the radio screen doesn't work, thus I'm hoping if I set up the new super hub 2 using the same network name and password that the radio will carry on working - maybe I hope in vane/vain but I hope nonetheless :)
