Films from 2004 to present releases: Which would you consider future classics?

What movies, that have come out in the last 10 years, do you think will be considered classics in the years to come?

My choices would be:

Million dollar baby
Sideways
A History of violence
The Departed
No country for old men
There will be blood
Avatar
Inception
Skyfall
12 years a slave

Movies I would consider future classics (but probably won't become future classics):
    Pan's Labyrinth - Because it's amazing
The Dark Knight Trilogy - The best comic book film series so far, and probably of all time
Toy Story 3 - The best film trilogy of all time, I just listed the 3rd one because it's the only one post 2004
The Social Network - It's an interesting study about the founding of a modern phenomena, and it's very well written and directed
    Moon

Are people listing Bond films just because they are Bond films so bound to become classics by association?

I doubt that any that Brosnan did would ever be considered classics.

On a narrative level I'd disagree completely, but as a technical study, maybe.

Goldeneye is better than all three of Daniel Craig's outings (and I liked Casino Royale and Skyfall) so if those two are to be considered classic in future it should be too.

I'm going to say The Lego Movie. Similar to how people love Toy Story and rave about how good it was.

Quality of the film aside, Star Wars was a world wide phenomenom, inspiring masses of imitators, and pretty much changing cinema. Avatar may be technically breathtaking, but it will never be able to make a similar claim. It was popular when it was made, hence the massive box office takings, but it'll never be considered in the same league as Star Wars.

    All IMHO, of course.

    Cloud Atlas
    300
    V for Vendetta
    The Fountain
    Another Earth
    Drive
    Moon
    Sin City

Well at least I think they will be regarded as cult classics.

I admit I'm at loss because I don't know the criterion. Films that flew under the radar will grow into mainstream films? Or popular blockbusters that will remain popular in a few decades' time? Or little-known films that will be re-evaluated and hailed as classics? Or am I being too serious here? :D

I think a film has to be at least 10 years old before it can be properly appraised, over time acclaimed films can date quickly and flops can be reassessed and find a new audience. Two examples would be Blade Runner and The Thing, both now considered classics but were not well received upon release.

I think Anchorman would be in with a fair shout. Some people loathe it, but it's probably the most quoted film in the last decade.

I did as films I want to be classics, not films I think will be...

If it was films I think will be viewed as classics (I've included franchises with entries between 04 and now, even if they started beforehand):

    The Dark Knight Trilogy
    Inception
Iron Man, Iron Man 3, The Avengers (The rest of the MCU hasn't been as well received)
    Toy Story Trilogy
    The Hunger Games series
    Peter Jackson's Middle Earth series
    Harry Potter series

I would give another vote for Another Earth, The Social Network, Drive and Let the Right One In.

    Others worth consideration not mentioned.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
    The Place beyond the Pines.
    An Inconvenient Truth.
Enron: The Smartest Men in the Room.
    Man on Wire.
    Wall-e.
    500 Days of Summer.
    Looper.
    Burn After Reading.
    A Serious Man.

I was afraid to say Mean Girls. Or Little Miss Sunshine for that matter.
