Why??
Sorry - I just feel very angry/annoyed/upset at this particular moment in time.
I will explain:
Tomorrow is my eighteenth birthday, and, about a week or two ago, I organised with my mates, to go out tomorrow night to celebrate. I hardly ever go out drinking etc, so this would be special for my eighteenth, however, they have all now said that they can't go, meaning that tomorrow night I won't be going out celebrating. I guess I just feel so disappointed cos I was really looking forward to it. Sorry...just needed a rant!

i guess that might be the more positive explanation for their behaviour....
I have to be honest and I had thought of that, however, knowing the people that they are, I don't see that as something they would do. I don't see them as that thoughtful...it's a positive explanation, but sadly not in my eyes the most likely....
Happy birthday btw
Do you have any other friends that you could call and ask to go out and celebrate? it seems a shame that you'll miss out celebrating your birthday due to the inconsideration of your so called friends.
also...if the worst comes to the worst and they really aren't planning to suprise you, then i would definately dump them as friends. I'm sure you could do so much better than them and find geniune people who care about you.
Thank you
Well, very possibly because all of them went out last night drinking , and another is working tomorrow night. Allegedly.
The same thing happened to me last year at my 18th, it was another friends birthday a few days later so we were planning on celebrating that at the weekend but the day of my birthday they all text me and said they had decided to celebrate her birthday the same day as mine and they had arranged a night out. I was really dissapointed, but suggested that we all go out together and celebrate together. But i was then told they had booked a table already and 'assumed' i wouldnt wanna go!!!
Well to cut a long story short, i ended up having a really nice 18th with my family and a few mates, i didnt get hammered, but i had a great time and that was the main thing.
Anyway, i hope all goes well for you and u have a great 18th!!!!

I also agree with other posters - get some new friends.
Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY
If they are not throwing a party or anythign along those lines then what kinda mates ARE they!?
Happy Birthday though! x
Have a good one anyway!
I can sympathise as I can feel your pain - I've been there and bought that T Shirt many times.
PM me if you want to chat about it!
Can I come too? It's my birthday tomorrow as well! Bit past 18, unfortunately.
if theyre real friends they wont let u down babe! u have a wicked birthday ur only 18 once, enjoy it!!

The amount of times I have been let down this way by so called 'friends'. Even worse it being your 18th. That is evil IMO
I had a very small do with my family and close mate, nothing big. I enjoyed it.
Use this time to evaluate who matters and there are better people out there, they have been left behind and you have moved on and grown up
Happy birthday, Jen!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
*balloons, champagne, ticker tape, hugs, and everything you ever wish for*
Have a great day
