Going go have go stop going on the BDO Facebook page. If you think people talk bollocks on here you ain't seen nothing yet. Some clown said "this wouldn't happen in the PDC." If course it would it's the ruddy weather. As much as Barry Hearn thinks he's God he can't control the weather

    :D...
They cancelled a night in the PDC once if i recall(think it was the PL finals night)

Such a refreshing change to see a normal, professional, fancy dress-less darts crowd.

Sorry, I've just tuned in, what's happened re: the weather ?

Can't wait until the first "stand up if you love the darts" chant ;-)

Well, the odd couple may have slipped through, but at least the majority are normal. :p

I know his chances are probably slim but as a long time fan I'm rooting for Martin Adams. Hope he has a decent run.:(

Possible big upset here...Waites has not found his form yet.:o

Loving the dodgy camera work already >:(

Norris is looking solid and giving Waites a run for his money.

Me too, I've always liked Martin Adams.

If Waites loses this, I wonder if he will follow the likes of recent BDO players Webster, Chisnall and Winstanley, who after losing early in this tournament all made their way to the PDC soon after.

No way, he'll be back to doing the chippy work Monday morning. He won't go to the PDC...yet.

Yep, boards with no tacks in them are 100 time's better.

If he doesn't this year when will he though? Even if he is playing poorly today he's shown with his performances in the Grand Slam that's he more than capable of playing against the elite in the PDC. If he leaves it too late like Hankey did it would be a huge mistake for his career.

Gosh, you're right - the trebles appear quite tall and the doubles very long/wide. These are supposed to be really hi-tech boards too but having the number 4 fall off after the first leg isn't the best sign of quality control.

Still, gotta love the bdo/lakeside dartboard echo. :)

Maybe he does not want to (I don't know). Isn't he the captain of Yorkshire at county level ? If so then he'll lose that if he wants to go over to the PDC.
