    Trips to the gym!

Six packs are not at all easy to get though, unless you have very lucky genes!

    Go to the supermarket.

    Try opening with your beak.

In seriousness lots of training and the right diet.

You need to lift weights for pecks (bench presses are the best) and things like press ups and dumbbell flies can help.

A six pack won't show until you lose enough body fat, so cardio first and when you're leaner do sit ups, crunches, inverted crunches etc.

I do 100 situps every moning and night and I don't have a perfect six pack.
Sometimes you need to endure misery or pain to do it.

    And pressups.

Ahh once you've been doing that for two weeks or so, the pain goes - to me it becomes a boredom issue! I bought Sports Active 2 to do my home exercising - it adds a little entertainment to it, and when you do the press ups and crunches in the game, just do twice as many reps - sorted!

I've been doing it for months.
    Its the boredom now.
So I listen to a song and aim to get as many done as I can for the duration of the tune!

I don't need a six pack as I do football/ tennis and am naturally slim and get toning from them.
I just do a 100 cos I have OCD about factors of 10 and I see it in the same way some people see reading a book- it relaxes them.

What do you want one for OP?

I'm all for natural toning, but have never got this obsession with the 6-pack thing. When someone whips off their top to reveal one, it reminds me of opening a can of mackerel fillets.

I could have done it if I'd had 5 cans of 4 loko at hand! Now the opportunity is lost. RIP 4 loko - you'll be missed.

    You dont.

3 x 20 for each section (obliques, lower & upper abs) daily is sufficient. Then it's down to cardio & correct nutrition. Don't get me wrong, do 1000 sit ups a day if you like and you will get results, but you're leaving yourself open to severe injury.

1000 a day and you'll be pissing muscle fibre - no way Jose!
