Rula Lenska has Quit Corrie??

According to Chris Evans on Radio 2 Rula Lenska has quit Corrie!:(:(:eek::eek:

Gutted if this is true. I really liked her character and am just now seeing her on screen without the image of George Golloway and the cat business making me heave!

Her partnership with Audrey is great and poor Audrey will be left to just hang around on her own again.

    I didn't think she was a regular character anyway, just someone brought in occasionally to give Audrey someone to talk to. :confused:

    Really, really disappointed. I've loved Claudia from the word go.

    Her chemistry with Audrey has been wonderful, they're a really great double act.

    What??!! This is typical Corrie - dull dead-end characters like Kirk, Sean, Izzy, Chesney, Katy, Owen, Cheryl and Lloyd are allowed to stay, but fab characters like Claudia are axed! There was so much potential with Claudia and Audrey and it's such a pity that this will not be explored.

    I don't think she was axed, but Rula left of her own accord. I don't think this is the last we will see of her though.

    Who says she was even axed?

    Although I am gutted, I really liked the character.

    I really hope that it is true that she will come back.

    Just re-read the article and there's no mention of her being axed. Sorry.

    But am still annoyed that Rula Lenska is not staying.

    Maybe they'll do an on-line spin off of Audrey and Claudia in the Manchester Salon of the year competition and every year we see them competeing! this would be great and be a welcome return for Caludia every year!

    I don't want her to go!!!

    Sharon Marshall just (sort of) confirmed it on TM. Such a shame, I loved Claudia and Audrey. I suppose Marc will be leaving too?

    You're right. She's a recurring character.
    Much like Mollie Sugden as Nellie Harvey.
    Rula was also said to have 'quit' after Lewis.

    She was only a reccuring character anyway - plus she was always going to be leaving as she's on tour later this year

    From what I read today, Marc is staying and him and Audrey will end up together and going round the Gay Village.


    Though this was in The Sun I think so...make of that what you will
