For me the highlight was matt singing First Time.. which was incredible.
The lowlight was Aiden going instead of Katie.

Lowlight - Aiden leaving too early and the fact that it was Katie made it worse

Lowlight - Aiden's elimination
I watched it on YouTube last night for the first time since it happened and I still shouted "Nooooo!!!" at the result!! I've mentioned it on other posts but I'm still not quite over it
Lowlight - Nicolo leaving faaaar too early and Aiden leaving to Katie
Lowlight - the manipulation on the show. Katie being in the bottom two 4 times and still being saved over Aiden!
How could I forget this, a definite highlight there! Actually I think Maiden as a whole has been something of a highlight this year!

Lowlight - probably at judges houses watching Katie and Cher doing so poorly and getting through anyway. I could have accepted Cher on the back of her previous performances, but for Katie to go through aswell just made it all seem such a farce.
Lowlight - Nicolo Shafted.
Probably Mary week one, the best performance of the series from anyone, and it clearly meant a lot to her (sadly it was all downhill from there, but still)
Lowlight.
Aiden the tuneless wonder getting through to the finals, with a special shout out to his 'save me' song, in which he managed to sings the words to one song to the tune he had made up in his head, and still keep a straight face.
Lowlight - Aiden leaving against Katie when it was her fourth bottom two.
Lowlight: Any time Simon Cowell's face appeared on screen.
Lowlight: When they advertised for auditionees for the next series

Lowlight, One Direction going out, Aiden going out.
Literally, just Wagner in general. Every song, dance, shake, VT, judges comment and bongo instrumental - this guy had me grinning like a Cheshire cat. He now remains one of my favourite X Factor acts of all-time. Loaf Shack! La La La Loaf Shack!
Low-light: Wagner Eliminated.
Especially because it was set up with that stupid 'double elimination'. Injustice!
