It's a shame Hannah was fired, I thought she did ok as team leader, but she absolutely brought the wrong people back with her. Even Lord Sugar said he didn't know why Zara was there. She was excellent in the pitches. Harry must be a pain to work with, but warned they should be pricing higher and he sold those ugly, ugly flowers which I thought was a miracle. Neither Zara nor Harry lost the task for them. Gbemi did for suggesting the low prices, and I don't care what Hannah and Gbemi claimed, Gbemi just stood there like a gormless shadow while Harry clinched the deal. Surely Gbemi can't last much longer? She's was terrible and uncooperative in the ice-cream task and same again this week.

Lewis was next to useless too. Lord Sugar said he did nothing but flap around and Lewis admitted he was the weakest...HINT on who to take back :D I normally admire loyalty to friends, but it was Hannah's downfall this time.

Does anyone know the reason why they dont start off with high prices perhaps for an hour and test the market. Is the day really too short for them to sell the lot. Or are more customers there at the beginning. Or at least do the opposite if things go well higher them or give them less for their money. A person buying flowers doesnt really care what he gets or if its value for money. I thought is was a good episode even the lady was impressed.
If they know exactly what is needed, like with the first pitch always make sure the other team doesnt get it. In other words offer a very low price. Like with the rubbish task. With the other pitches the boys were out of their depth. They should have realised that if they cant arrange flowers they cant sell them either. They should have really lost. I think the ones who sell on the pitches where the real competition is should be awarded double points. In other words their profit money should count double. I still think the competition is still very open. The girls have not yet all shown what they can do. Last time the 'almost' winner also only woke up in the middle.
Do they also have to provide a business proposition before LS parts with his personal cash. LS is impressed with harry M and it looks to me he will even employ him himself. He sees a bit of himself in him.

    Stupidity

To be honest, with the rubbish task they didn't understand the brief (due to unfamiliarity with the rubbish trade) and Helen was lucky to get it right.

A good salesman should be able to sell everything.

And Zara did sell on the pitches, but she also lost the vital pitch.

The pitch was no more vital than the two she won (despite Lewis nearly sabotaging them).

No they weren't just asked to bring 'flowers' but to design them as well. This is a specialist task not part of being a salesman.

And you probably never will, if James is anything to go by. He literally looks as though he rolls in one side of the bed, sleeps for a few hours, rolls out the other side and straight off out for the day. I bet he stinks. Sorry if this is a bit harsh but he truly makes my skin crawl :o

Ditto. They may be young, but their personalities are atrocious. They should know better by now. They are not 5 or 6 year olds with no real grasp of the way they are perceived. As someone mentioned earlier, they are 16, and pretty clever by all accounts. They don't need to be patronised, and I for one refuse to cut them any slack, they wouldn't hesitate to piss all over me if there was a profit in it for them.

Yes. Even their own parents laugh at how ridiculous they look.

On that note, why do they all leave in the Bentley (or whatever it is)? That's usually saved for the winner, with the rest sent packing in a black cab. I guess he probably wants to treat them, give the little whipper-snappers summat to remember ;)

I was not surprised at all by these comments. Nick is a grade A tw@. I can't mention who, don't want to be responsible for them getting fired, but someone very close to me has worked with him and told me in no uncertain terms that he is a complete prick. I always got the impression he put it on for the show, oh how wrong I was. He is devoid of a sense of humour and takes himself way too seriously. He spends his time stroking the egos of those higher up than him and talking down to those he considers lower.

Agree with much of this. Karen Brady is a better observer to Lord Sugar because she's more constructive about the contestants and doesn't tend to keep constantly expecting them to trip.

I wouldn't mind seeing James and Lewis as Team Leaders next week.

Lewis was PM last week ..... with the hippo toy - and survived the boardroom!

Would like to see James in the firing line next week though!

James - yes indeed. I hadn't realised that Lewis was TL last week. Presumably they lost then?

Oh yes it's coming back to me the ghastly pitching.

I was hoping Harry M would be fired, because I find him annoying, but in all honesty Hannah was the right one to go, even though she seems nice.

I was a bit gutted that Hannah got fired as I really liked her.
    :(

Still, she did bring the wrong two people back, no doubt about that.

    For me,

James, Zara and Gbemi are very annoying and though Zara is decent at dealing with clients, I don't think she has enough substance to match the style.

I'm not quite sure what Haya is doing there. She'll be one to go for not "coming forward".

The 2 Harry's are the most confident of the boys, but it's already apparent that Maxwell is disliked but I think he'll make the final. Hitchens will be gone before then, as he doesn't have a spark.

Lewis will stay longer than he should and eventually go.

Lizzie got swallowed up a bit by the over-bearing characters in her team last week, but still won the task. I think she'll make the final stages also.

But the clear favourite for me is Hayley. She is the most professional of them all and comes up with good suggestions. Her politeness will work in her favour like last years winner, Lord Sugar wants a clean cut young apprentice. (ie. no cocozza's)

Just watched this week's episode and agreed that Hannah had to go, she definitely made the wrong choice of who to take into the board room which was her fatal mistake. The pricing was another mistake but if she had taken Lewis into the boardroom then he would have gone instead of her.

I'm glad Lizzie's team won but it was more luck than judgement with their win. Hannah's team would have won if they'd trebled their prices.

I've just watched the latest episode on iPlayer. Hannah's biggest mistake was bringing Zara and Harry M back into the boardroom. I didn't want either of them to leave, and I am relieved that my two favourite candidates survived.

Hannah deserved to be fired. Never mind the task. In the boardroom before she had to choose who she was bringing back, she found out (if she didn't know before) that Lewis had his phone on during the pitch, and it rang twice. How unprofessional. She should have brought him back to the boardroom just for that. He is immature and weak, and he deserved to be fired. Hannah's mistake has cost her, and considering she's one of the most intelligent candidates, that's a shame.
