    Look you did a good deed, if they had kept the car and used it you'd still be out of pocket for the trade in.
    As it stands they're still driving a shiity old car and whatever they spent the money on they spent it on. When they break down in the middle of nowhere and call you for a jump you'll have had two pints and won't be able to come and pick them up ;)

    Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not being a complete b***h! Having thought about it, I've decided just to let it go as I don't want to cause any upset within the family but I definitely won't be doing them any more favours. I'll just chalk it up to experience and get back to my happy place :)
