I watched it all today and loved it.

I thought Ja'mie did some absolutely mental things but some of stuff Jonah did was on another level completely!!

There were so many funny moments. Most of the things that made me laugh involved Jonah's Dad trying to catch him to give him a beating though, the way his Dad was running on the bowling lane haha. And when they had to hug and Jonah wouldn't do it.

I love all of Chris' shows so this didn't disappoint me at all. I really hope he does a Mr.G show next so as all of Summer Heights characters have had their own individual series!!!

Thanks for the link! Can't seem to download, though - is it stream-only?

Happy to hear it's as good as his other series :)

It's only up for the weekend premiering on iplayer and Australia are doing the same this weekend too. Then it will be on for 6 weeks like a normal run so I guess download will be available then. :)

I'm watching too - enjoying it so far! I'm disappointed that they've recast his father since SHH, though. The previous actor was hilarious.

I dont remember all of SHH, in the process of getting it though lol.

I wasn't keen on the Jonah part but this has made me laugh so far.

    J'aime was brilliant.

I had a teacher that threw chairs out the way to get a unruly boy and pull him out the class.

I guess everyone is actors, but the school is a real building?

i think so, they might have used real pupils as extra's. I read that he felt strange filming it because he was acting with 16 and 17 year olds and he is 39 :o

More depth to this than Ja'mie so far. Jonah always had more potential as a character, I reckon.

How come this is coming so quickly after his last series, or did we get that a long time after down under?

The teacher has been fantastic so far. Brilliantly observed.

Ah fair enough, can see his point, but then he can't use everyone his age for it all.

He was brilliant I must agree.

He really is, he is exactly like the teacher I mentioned, but without the swearing.

From memory Ja'mie did take a while to arrive - UK showing starting after Oz had finished. Here it's virtually the same time

much more rounded supporting cast. All the "adults" seem multi dimensional rather than cartoons / characterchures

Well I have to say, I enjoyed that first episode! Pretty funny and enjoyable! I also agree about there being more depth in Jonah than Ja'mie. (I.e cultural background and past life). Out of all the three characters, Jonah was and still is my favourite from Summer Heigts High and I think he has more potential. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the series, I missed out on watching the whole series last weekend (for some reason, my sky internet connection is still not on even though it's already been paid for).

Still, at least I have something to watch on Thursday nights. After watching the first episode, I already think it's started off better than Ja'mie. :)

Another dire offering from this utter bell end, BBC mention tbey need to cut back, but then show this.

If it isnt this imbossile playing a girl, he is now playing a teenage boy.

What next him playing a adult baby in a jumbo sized cot, sucking a dummy

When the trailer for next week's episode mentioned a new dance/arts teacher I half expected it to be Mr G
