RIP Trigger, condolences to all family and friends :(

He was absolutely hilarious in OFAH, remember he kept calling Rodney Dave, and the 'sounds like Jimmy Saville' sad loss.

He was also fantastic in The Vicar Of Dibley too playing Owen.

Good. Trigger and his broomstick will never not make me laugh.

RIP Roger, a fellow Spurs fan.

Very sad. He was excellent in the series in which he appeared.

Pancreatic cancer is a particularly insidious one. By the time you get a diagnosis it's far too late to do anything about it.

    RIP Roger.

The only reason I watched repeats of OFAH was because of Trigger, all the jokes got old and stale after repeat viewings but he mastered the art of being stupid and moronic down to a fine art and always had me laughing, regardless of how many times I'd seen it.

    R.I.P.

    RIP Trig.

Del: "What have you got then Michael?"
Mike: "We've got a nice beef stew Del."
Del: "Beef? I don't know about that what with all this mad cow disease."
Trigger: "There's nothing wrong with beef - I've been eating it al my life."
    ***silent pause***
Del: "Egg and chips please Mike."

Dammit, RIP Trigger, one of my favourite scenes with him and his broom...

Trigger has just been presented with an award for saving the council money.
Trigger: And that's what I've done. Maintained it for 20 years. This old brooms had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time.
Sid: How the hell can it be the same bloody broom then?
Trigger: Theres the picture. What more proof do you need?

So sad to hear of another loss due to this terrible disease. Roger was merely weeks away from his 70th birthday as well.

Of course he did much more beyond Only Fools, but Trigger will be remembered with the most fondness I should expect.

I have only just heard this news, text from the other half and we are both absolutely gutted!! What a talented and funny guy, such a shame.

Thoughts to his family at this sad time.

RIP Roger, he was a brilliant actor, know one could of played Trigger like he did, he was born to play the role. Roger was also brilliant in the Vicar of Dibley and he was such a versatile actor i remember him playing a man with Parkinson's in a show called What we did on our Holiday and he played the part to perfection just showed what an actor he was. I didn't even know he was ill. If it is true they are planning to bring back Only Fools and Horses it will be hard to imagine it without Trigger, they would have to be some sort of tribute. RIP Roger.
