I adore Jason Byrne stand up, but I can't see this being anything other than awful.

Supporting cast especially the parents are very reliable, but the script and Jason Byrne are not impressive, this is BBC Three standard......

It's making "The Wright Way" look polished.

I don't know of any sitcom or drama where fathers are seen in a positive light.

No wonder men are increasingly shunning family life these days.

BBC Three have high standards in terms of original content

'Slip me a Curly Wurly'..........you see that's why it's not on at 8.30, far too earthy.;)
The fact that it's utter tosh might be a reason too.

I think the 5 of us watching are providing more than enough real vomit.:o

Even 'Pat and Cabbage' is a quality production compared to this.:o

Yes on occasion they do, I rather meant this deserves a BBC Three slot and maybe a particular BBC Three show deserves promotion to BBC One.

Pauline McLynn, Jason Byrne, Fiona Allen and Tyres from Spaced.

No amount of collective comedy talent can polish this turd.

How do the BBC decide on what gets broadcast? They can't possibily have done a significant poll on this one. No man in his sane brain could have have said this had ANYTHING going for it!

Just caught the last 10 minutes of this unfortunately. How does crap like this seriously get made? Who approves it? Bonkers. Comedy based on people getting food thrown on them repeatedly? Excuse me while I go and sew my sides back together. Not.

Have to agree with you all. This is unbelievably bad.

How the hell did this get approved for broadcast?

It would make a good children's sitcom, along the lines of Rentaghost or Grandad from my young days.

Obviously, they wouldn't have the bit where it looked like he was banging his own mother, but you know what I mean.

After watching Bullseye, (they won a caravan) I turned over to see a very poor Here's Johnny impression.
I turned off the TV immediately.

What to happened to making sitcoms like Keeping up Appearances and One Foot in the Grace? I actually watched Pat and Cabbage the other night and it actually enjoyed it, though the name of the sitcom sounds like something you'd find on Cbeebies.
