Branson is from London and is retiring to the British Virgin Islands!
Its taken them a long time to make up their minds.
The issues are fairly basic for intelligent people like Branson and the Guardian proprietors/editors I would have thought, so why leave it until now?
Since they don't have a vote, courtesy of the Labour Party, what has it to do with them except as a late minute publicity splash?

I dont see this as momentum at all but rather something that was always likely to happen.
