We still laugh about it even now! I knew my pal was gonna be in for a cropper when she ate a huge lasagne the night before! Sorry..... too much information!
I'm sure she's a perfectly nice girl but Nadine Coyle was in Selfridges being swamped by some teeny boppers - FINE... my neice wanted an autograph and a pic so I went with her to approach Coyle.... she wasn't unpleasant per say but as I was walking away with my neice she called out to me, "would you like a photo?" I can't explain why I found that so annoying and patronising. To this day she annoys me everytime I think of it. Ok I sound mad and I know she is famous and is probably always getting asked but grrrrrrrrrrrr!
Oh yeah and I met that TWERP Melanie B in Embassy, baloon chested baffoon and the brick sh*thouse who shoved me out of the way because AGAIN he thought I was some lamo autograph hunter. I used to fancy Mel - flippin no mark
John Barnes was lovely when I met him way back in 1990 and he comes across as being just as nice nowdays.
I accidently bumped into Danniella Westbrooke in my local shopping center when I was around 13 and she quite nicely said 'Watch where you're going you silly little cow!' To which I quite nicely replied 'Watch who you're talking to you funny earred little cokehead!'
Or you just get around famous people who are too up themselves! From what I've heard, the A listers and B listers are the nicest..... it's the other non-entities who think they're Gods gift who are the worst.

Isn't that her being nice, though? I guess you had to be there.

I would have thought it nice of her to offer. I've heard of some celebs flipping out at people for trying to get a photo but it sounds like Nadine's just probably accepted it as part of the job and offers because it's usually what people want.

It was probably just her accent that made it seem annoying and patronising
I'm a big Girls Aloud fan, and Nadine is my favourite so I may be biased but I've never heard a story of a bad meeting with her, and having met her myself, I found her to be the nicest out of the bunch. The general consensus among Aloud fans is that she is the sweetest girl to meet and always makes an effort when talking to people... I believe there's videos on YouTube that prove this.
I have no idea why all the non fans believe her to be so bitchy and arrogant, I can understand the Cheryl hate but Nadine is actually really genuine, and utterly harmless.
Girls Aloud I had always expected to be really really up themselves; I'm surprised to hear that they generally seem quite nice
And CILLA!! Anybody got any juicy Cilla stories? Spill the gory details!!
I've met French and Saunders- lovely, lovely ladies. And Joan Rivers- absolutely wonderful. I once chatted to Jeff Stelling, who came across as a very nice, genuine chap.
Those are the most noteworthy people I've met... also met a couple of extremely unimpressive Z listers, none of whom really made impressions on me either way.
I've only met a couple of celebs and they were lovely:
Jeff Green
Mike Smith
Phillip Schofield
Carol Decker (so nice and chatty)
Cameron Stout (BB4) (I know he's pretty much resoundly hated but when I met him he was so different to how he appeared on Tv. He was handsome, with bags of charisma and so so nice and easy with everyone.)
My Ex used to work with celebs a lot and said the nicest EVER was Jason Donovan. He is a lovely guy who takes time to genuinly talk to people.
He hated (and nosurprises here) Abs (F5ve) and worst of all was Sam Fox who was a rude cow and a diva.
Brian May and his wife 'Angie' were really lovely people. Also met actor Greg Kinnear...he was really nice too. Can't think of anyone I didn't like.
Oh yes I can, but I can't remember his name, hehe. However he seemed to think my friend and I should have known exactly who he was. We didn't. And still don't.

ah i have two very good cilla stories, one of which involved trying to humiliate bruce forsyth, utter mad vile woman
I am SO jealous of the people who met Viggo Mortensen and Johnny Depp!! Glad to hear they were both lovely.:D
I met Amanda Barrie (used to play Alma in Corrie) a few years ago at this weird gallery opening near Shrewsbury and she was really nice,if slightly tipsy, and happily signed autographs, posed for photos etc for everyone who wanted them.
I think there have been several threads like this previously but here is my list.
Will Young - I met him in Manchester and he was lovely and funny.
Alan Titchmarsh - in our local Marks, we walked to our respective cars together.
Christopher Fulford - again in Marks in the food queue. Much better looking than on television. He usually plays villains.
I have found Russell Brand to be delightful every time i have met him, as have Jake & Ana from Scissor Sisters. Not met anyone really horrid, but my worst would be Westlife, they were miserable as anything when i met them!!!
Billy boyd - one of the hobbits from lord of the rings
Seen alot of the river city cast, and my sisters husband is good friends with Gray O’Brien
Ally Mccoist - Scottish football player
Johnny Depp - one time walking around glasgow
Worst
Gordon Strachen
Suzanne shaw - i hear she is nice but at the time appeared up her own bum.
And CILLA!! Anybody got any juicy Cilla stories? Spill the gory details!!
Apparently......she only drinks moet, your not allowed to talk to her, if your are allowed to talk to her you have to call her ms black.....apparently
Met Jimmy Carr after a gig, so lovely, even though me and my friends were practically stalking him (there wasn't any time for photos, so we hung around till the end and made him have one with us, no wonder he looks scared in it! plus outside the venue, we kept bumping into him, he probably was just wishing we would go!)
I've met John Barrowman, James Marsters and Eve Myles at a signing. John was rushed off his feet, so didn't get loads of time to talk to him, but seems like a lovely guy. James is LOVELY (I'm biased - Buffy is my favourite programme of all time), he loves a bit of eve contact and shaking hand for a long time. Eve, well she is just a sweetheart! Such a lovely girl, wondering if we were having a good day and what we were up to.
Nicholas Lyndhurst is a bit grumpy, he shops in my local M&S and he tries to be so unobvious (hat, sunglasses) that he is in fact, really obvious
Jamie & Harry Redknapp are really nice (Jamie is sooo handsome too)
Lee Mead is really nice and Sarah Lark (from "I'd do anything") is amazingly lovely.
Christopher Timothy is quite funny.
I met Same Difference (XF4) in a club, and they were chatting to fans for ages! They were nice!
Matthew Kelly is a big grump.
I met Vic Reeves once too..... he was as pished as a newt.... had no idea what he was doing or where he was going. He did get up and sing Dizzy at the karaoke bar at one point ...... other than sloshed, he seemed OK!
I met Mark Owen once too and he was a bit grumpy. It wasn't long after TT had split up so I let him off as I guess he was quite down. Usually, there's only good news that filters back about Mark.

The worst would be Ronan Keating, and two of the girls from Atomic Kitten!
Not nice: David Furnish, Roman Polanski, The girl from that show 'Blossom'
I was catering at a fancy ball.
Duncan from Blue was amazing looking, but I couldn't say if he was nice as I never spoke to him. He left early

Haven't met a bad one so far!
Johnny Ball - one of my childhood heroes (made numbers fun) also very friendly.

Lee Mead is really nice and Sarah Lark (from "I'd do anything") is amazingly lovely.
