    On The Waterfront

A very young Marlon Brando at his very best.

Like his iconic speech,he could have had class,he could have been a screen legend,he could have been somebody. But sadly he ended up as an enigma that promised so much more than he ever delivered.

I know the irony in that speech but I think he gave film a incredible amount and was a definite bona fide screen legend.
3 unforgettable characters in Don Corleone,Stanley Kowalski and Johnny.
Plus memorable work on August Moon,Guys & Dolls,One Eyed Jacks,The Men,Young Lions,Apocalypse Now,Last Tango and influencing Pacino,DeNiro,Dean and just about every male actor after 1950.

That's a body of work more than 99.999...% of actors will ever achieve.
