If I never see her moronic goggle-eyed face peering out from its frame of lank, dangling greasy hair ever again it will be too soon

She is facially challenged that i agree and not in a good way.

Wonder if mummy was impregnated by an owl and she was the result?

It's cringeworthy, and the nerd unsettles me.

I know the creatives behind the advert, the are utterly livid to hear it described as arsewank.

    Really!!?

Every time I hear that "hot spots" dialogue I'm thinking "f**k me, it's as if Noel Coward were still alive and writing for TV adverts". Not.

I don't think Noel Coward knew that girls had hotspots.

It' would astound you how many creatives and writers hang out on DS forums looking for praise with regards to their work, even some of the more well known tv writers are here.

Thie 'Worst Advert' thread alone has been the source of anger, frustration and sometimes hilarity for those who create our infamous adverts. So everyone can take satisfaction in knowing that their hilarious comments are giving arsewanks prickly heat.

This is a very, very weird thing to think about an actress in an advert, never mind to bother sharing.

You misunderstand me, I am talking about the back story for the character played by the actress. The way she rolls her eyes when she doesn't get what she wants seems odious to me. I wonder what the 'creatives' who came up with this scenario and those character traits were thinking?

Why do they all arrive at the flat with their laptops under their arms? They're begging to get mugged.

I dont thnk you have too much experience of really pretty girls. In reality they get exactly what they want. Have you not noticed. In this respect the Ad mirrors life perfectly.

Why did Fanny Hill take that guy's broadband hub to a cafe just so she could watch a video of sheep?

    Heh, probably not!

The writers might think they're writing something to match the repartee in 'The Philadelphia Story', or Bogart and Bacall in 'The Big Sleep', but, honestly, it just comes across as toe-curlingly embarrassing.

    The ads are pretty bad.

The "nerd" character changes multiple times throughout the ad. One minute he's trying to get fired into her, the next minute he's completely unaware of her p*sstake sexual jokes.

I didn't realise that students lived in such luxurious apartments.

    I predict:-

The ginger idiot turns out to be on the Sex Offenders' Register.
The girl goes on the game to help pay off her student loan.
The other boy becomes her best client.

That nobheads facial expression that hangs for a few seconds at the end of the ad - ooh, it's begging to be hit !! :L

Ginger idiot is a Jeffrey Dahmer wannabe.

Girl is a post op tranny.

Boring boy is on the sex offender register.

I stand by what I said on the "worst adverts" thread.

When that girl showed up at the apartment, the fat guy was planning to murder her, but unfortunately for him, she showed up with another guy, thus ruining his plans....for now at least.

But I bet he gets the girl in the end - which will just show just show unrealistic the whole thing is.

If it reflected real student life, eventually the students will be seen getting into crippling debt and smashing up bank windows.
