From my experience with porn, I don't the women attractive in the slightest, but then again, do beautiful woman need to do porn? I often find that the performers may feel unvalidated or something in their lives and therefore "do" porn to give themselves a sense of validity.

I watched one documentary where they were talking about salaries and this female star was earning in excess of 2000 dollars a scene but the male co star was earning just 500 dollars a scene. They were doing anything from one or two scenes a day to ten or more so the money could soon stack up.
How can they be 'unrealistic' if real people are doing them in real life?
It's just people having sex while being recorded by cameras, it's not some kind of alternate universe.
Have you never used the word 'unrealistic' to describe a situation that is not likely to be the norm? Real porn actors are assuming these positions in real porn films, but I doubt that the average Joe/Joanna (or the porn stars for that matter) is replicating this in real life. Have you seen some of the positions? They are entirely for the camera, I don't know any woman who would willingly risk a broken neck/back otherwise.
