The Tennis Thread (Part 16)

I can not wait!
I think they should have two matches from each tour every day on Centre Court. But the late start (always been a mystery to me that one) seems to hinder that.

What the hell has Mac done to his hair!!!!
Wimbo 2012 is underway!!
Come on Andy and Serena!
Women's doubles is also on the schedule for today, I thought that odd when i saw it.
Venus and Serena are playing doubles together
They are defending Olympic champions but not sure if they will get to play doubles at the Olympics
I've come to the conclusion that Wimby should stop that, they're the only Slam that makes the men play 5 sets.
It seems very pointless
Maybe they just want to start all the events in case of bad weather?
Nice to see V&S back! Hope they are fit enough to play well.

Yep - are you new to watching Wimbledon? They do this every year - huge build up. I don't actually mind to be honest as I like listening to banter from the likes of Mac and Becker (when they eventually find him).
have you not got red button, they've been showing tennis since 11.30
main channel always have round up/filler bits. This isn't new
Is this the first time you have watched? This always happens - especially on the very first day.
Third on No.1 Court. After two men's matches.
Venus on after this, she has to be at her very best if she is to match Aga in the next round (that's if she beats Elena)
Seeded 16 I think...
Thanks Jimmy. Not until much later on, then.
