yes it is. I forget where I read it, but at least one of the "hands-on" said it was a micro-SIM.
What happens if you currently have a normal SIM and want to buy a mobile with a Micro-SIM slot? Do you just go to your Mobile Operator and ask for a Micro-SIM?

Look at picture 22 - is that a Micro-SIM I see? I cannot find any reference to the SIM slot in it online, but it does look a bit smaller than your average SIM.
I hope it isn't as I wouldn't want to have to swap my SIM over...

Most of the regular apple fans went quiet after the 4s launch ('twas not much to write home about after all), still one or two die hards hanging on though...just about.
4S was a big dissapointment not so much the specs but the indentical casing. So much so i got an HTC Sensation XE.Was looking to go for this S3 but not convinced by the looks. Will have to have a closer look instore when its released to make my mind up.I would go back to the iphone if it comes with a bigger screen 4.5" + but think they wont go past 4" .

I hope it isn't as big as 4.5" as that's to big for me, i think the S2 is about as big as I want to go, around 125mm x 65mm at the most.
I also own 2 Sony TVs, 2 PS3s, a PSP, Sony Bluetooth headset, Vaio.... Guess that makes me a Sony fanboy as I own way more Sony products than Apple.... Grow up!
My XE is 4.3" and i can use that no problem 1 handed so you should have no problem using an iphone 1 handed.Unless your talking about landscape where i always need 2 hands inc iphones.
And yet it always seems a standard consensus amongst the strong iPhone fans that anything beats a Samsung.
Some people may find it slightly strange that we get all this and yet no one even has one yet.
It seems you get shouted down if you dare to say anything negative about Samsung's products now a days...
I think most people can tell by pictures if they like the look of something. It seems difficult for you to understand that many people do not like the look of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
If you do like the look of it then great but my opinion is no less valid than yours. I think the S3 looks very dated compared to the HTC One X.

Yeah I can use my iPhone easily with one hand and when choosing a phone it's something I look for.

And how perfect in the hand it is too.
I find them all very much the same, iPhone included.
The difference is 90%+ in the screen and size though litigation kept telling us they are identical.
I often use a very small dumb phone for its one month battery life and even here I've never controlled it one handed.

Yes, or trim down carefully your existing sim.
Meet the SIII!
Lol strange how HTC and Nokia managed to make nice phones that's the worst excuse I have ever heard!

Micro sim here
It sometimes seems that the iPhone is now so lacking that all that's left is negative stuff about the main competitor.
Except I'm not the only one who finds the S3 ugly... It's pretty much reported that way on all reviews.
I hate to tell you but not liking a Samsung phone doesn't make you a fanboy, I infact think the HTC One X and and Lumia 900 are nice looking phones.

iMac 2.8GHz, iPhone 4, iPad
No but that does

S2 size would be good whats that 4.3" screen ? Surely they have to up the screensize this time.
Unsure what phone I'm going for this year but I'm looking for about 4" this time so if it's still 3.5" I will rule the iPhone out.
The problem is most manufacturers seem to be pushing 5" this year which makes it unusable to hold comfortably with one hand for me.
What's so important about 1 hand? I see this shoved about by apple users constantly but, even with my 4S i cannot use it comfortably in one hand......
So I can keep one hand on the wheel
More seriously i'm often holding something in the other hand like a cup of coffee so having to use 2 hands to text is a pain for me.
In fact this is something I hate about touch screen phones, I used to be able to text on my old Nokia or SE without looking at the phone.
