She knew Andrea in Botton hence why not on stage with him at beginning.

Simon wasn't happy with her unprofessional attitude.

    Think she's getting the sack.

If Stevie was bottom they would have gone to the public vote

She was raging at Simon at the start, when Cheryl was standing for Stevie she was pulling her down, it seemed like perhaps the plan was actually for Andrea to go but Mel stopped it.

Tonight more than ever seemed to hint at judges knowing who the bottom two were, or at least voting at the stage of the show starting.

I think she just did again?
Mentioning she was fuming in her changing room. But when would she have been there since the sing off?

She's just more or less confirmed on Xtra Factor that the judges know the bottom 2 before its announced...

She was also stood over the desk almost panting/breathing sigh of relief tight after result with Louis consoling her.

I definitely think tonight wasn't meant to end with Stevie going but she made it happen.

Other way round. If Andrea had been bottom they'd have had the courage to let him go via deadlock and blame the public.

I must have missed what you guys are referring to, what happened to suggest they knew who bottom two was and what did Mel B stop. I was watching but I was also horrified to see Andrea in the bottom that I missed this....fill me in please

I have no doubt that Simon wanted Andrea to go and that the judges know the B2 before we do. At least they know how the voting is at the beggining of the show.
The bookies knew in the middle of the afternoon that Andrea was B2, just looking at the odds.

What I'm really surprised about is how much Mel actually cares. She earned a lof of points in my book.

I did wonder why Louis was comforting her, especially as she hadn't lost one of her acts.

Sorry, but why would that stop her supporting her man?

I think Cheryl was whispering to Mel not to give the game away

The row must have been about the bottom 2.

Good point about the fact she actually cares. I think she comes across genuine in her judges comments, this somewhat proves she's being genuine.

I'm very pleased she's fighting so hard for Andrea. She absolutely gave the game away. She truly cares for Andrea more than her part in the show, more than her position. She won't be coming back to X Factor that's for sure. But she goes down as the most loyal mentor of all time imo.

That she was in her dressing room raging about Andrea being in the bottom two, but there wouldn't have been time for her to go to her dressing room after the bottom two was announced and the sing off has happened 'cause they switch straight to Xtra Factor on ITV2.
