God this is all so infuriating and tiring to watch. It really is like Groundhog Day.. you think they're making progress and then right back to square one again.

All the soaps do it, it's so annoying. How do they think it interests us? They talk about slow burners. The slow burners they inflict on us are rarely what we want to see >:(>:(>:(
I REALLY REALLY wish Nick would STFU, he was the one who slept with his brothers wife!! So sick of this storyline, and Nick acting the gobshite. I liked Kylie and David together this stupid storyline is crap
If this Blackburn character had any knowledge of Corrie history, he could have brought back Bret Falcon (Chris Sandford) who was discovered by Dennis Tanner in the early 60's and had a real chart hit - Not Too Little Not Too Much. (got to #17 in 1963).
It would have been better continuity than this window cleaner guy.
Next week on Coronation Street: David decides to take drastic action until Gail intervenes at the last minute. Kylie and Nick swear they want nothing to do with him ever again. And lather, rinse, repeat...
Khalid was out of order talking to Nick like that. Brain damage is a serious issue and talking to someone who has it as if they're a spoilt child is unacceptable. Yes, Nick's brain damage isn't as severe as in some cases (his mobility is fine now, for example) so maybe he take the verbal lashing, but the point is that the loss of one or more limbs (as Khalid was talking about) and the destruction of brain cells are two very different things. Both serious problems, but people with brain damage can succumb to a depression and emotional instability which is extremely difficult to overcome. Speaking from personal experience as a member of my family has suffered brain damage. Will power and determination can be a comfort to people who've lost limbs and want to strive to make the best of what they've got, but when you're living with brain damage you can still be hit by low and/or angry moods no matter how determined you might be to make the best of things. Khalid was wrong to talk to Nick as though he was a self-pitying ingrate. You simply can't 'solve' a problem like Nick's by laying into a person with brain damage. Leanne had better not take Khalid's side now.
