When they started preparing the 'meal', didn't they get potatoes out and start peeling them too? I thought tuna bake was a pasta dish?

One time I asked hubby to get me a small bag of large carrots coz I needed `em for the Cornish pasties I was making. Yep I made my own pastry too,. He came back with a large bag of baby carrots - which were 3 times the price. I wrote a list and everything.
    :)

    :D:D:D

I've got to admit that I absolutely loathe carrots.

Tuna, pasta, jar of sauce add cheese for the last cooking stages.

    No carrots or onions involved.

Tuna pasta bake is yummy. Served with garlic bread.

If you made the sauce yourself onions may be involved. But carrots, no way. It's like these people who put carrots in spaghetti bolognese. Madness. :o

I am appalled all over again at the thought of carrots in Cornish pasty now. :D I'm really not keen on carrots at all. The windasses can have the lot!

Has anyone on here ever, ever, ever put carrots in a tuna bake ? Speaking as something of a gourmet chef myself, I am, franky, appalled.

:D I wondered where they came in the recipe seeing as they had salad as a side dish

    Listen guys...

I know we have all had a laugh about the Tuna Bake... I even made a joke up...

    But guys... come on...

These people are living on the bread line...

They were all trying to muck in to make Anna feel better about herself and they had to use what ingredients they could muster from the pantry...

Lets all have a good long think eh... ;-)

Anna didn't eat her food because she hadn't been Phelan herself.

An ex-girlfriend cooked me kippers, beans & chips once, and was genuinely shocked when I refused to eat the shite.

Every chip and even the beans reeked of kipper!
