Ryan is selfish

When they were in the basement and agreed not to do the task in order to get the hot water on, Ryan broke ranks and did the task.
Now I take his point that he wanted his letter. However, when they made the decision as a group not to have their letters, it was because only one person would suffer. He really did not see the point that Frankie ws making at all.
He doesn't like it when people don't do what he considers right.

And this was coming from the man who was breaking rules about nominations talk and trying to influence other housemate's nominations by ganging up on the girls!
I think it was just attention seeking, he knows he needs to get back into GB's good books after the rule break.
BB are doing great at manipulating this series.
They intentionally split the letters based on the task outcome so the HMs sans Speidi would have a divide, and announced it when they were all tipsy and in a good mood - their guard was down.
Ultimately the three with no letters have been punished way more than Speidi who didn't even participate!!
Ryan's played into their hands and Frankie was *so* correct in his little pep talk...
But I have to be honest, I'd be gutted and a little let down by the 'team' in Ryan's shoes too.
To restart the argueing most likely.
I think it was very selfish for them to accept their letters. It should be a case of...We ALL read our letters..or NO-ONE does!
I totally understand Ryan being annoyed about it.
Can anyone really blame him for that? He was stuck in a room with no facilities, everyone wearing the same clothes they'd arrived in (did they sleep in them too?). Can't blame him for wanting to have a wash. Give him credit for wanting to keep clean and presentable - especially as everyone is now complaining about slobby housemates lazing around in skanky bathrobes. He's had standards since he got into the house.
I agree. Ryan however hard he tries has never fitted in to the little clique. He was just voicing his disappointment, not selfish at at but human.
Of course he is justified in being upset.
Yes this is correct, well remembered. There was no group decision, Speidi just decided not to do it and the others started rallying round. Ryan didn't. There was no democratic vote of sorts and he never agreed to not do the task.
So there was no breaking ranks.
Fact and premise of the original post is wrong.
Charming:rolleyes:
I agree with this, I felt very sorry for him.
They would not have liked that, if on the other foot.
I am not a mother, but dads to seem to get the rough end of the deal - why would they miss their children any less??
"Do you mind"? just doesn't cut it, because there is no other reply than "no, of course not" because the decision has already been made.
His family are on the other side of the world and the others seemed to forget that.
Ryan to win.
