  Nice thread Mona! This must have taken some time to do. Nothing lame about the thread title; it fits with the storyline.
  
  Shirley only has three more episodes but I hope this isn't her exit storyline for good. I hope she returns. In my opinion, she has more left to explore, and I was hoping since Dominic Treadwell Collins had created her character, he would have some ideas of where to go with her. I voted for Phil and Shirley in the poll. I think once Shirley forgives herself and Phil and becomes a nicer person, maybe they could get back together, but she has to be strong on her own as well.

  Hardly when he has almost gotten himself killed for getting her money and i think if they did it right they could be an equal . She has hated on him a lot,blackmailed him etc i think they would sort the sharon issue out first

  I think if shirley returns at his and sharons wedding that he couldnt marry sharon knowing shirley is in a bad way. He wouldnt forgive himself if she topped herself over it

  You could go by best actor, chemistry, storylines etc you dont necessary have to like the characters/couple

  I'm not voting in the poll. I don't think either pairing count as a 'couple' as they are not actually together any more.
  
  The choice of 'couples' is too narrow. We are not all obsessed with Rack or Phil/Shirley. IMP Phil and Sharon have far more chemistry.

  The spoilers tell a very different story about phil&shirl. Im expecting the scenes to be similar to proposal,really genuine &heartfelt.
  
  Its understandable jack doesnt want to get back with ronnie. But you can hardly say phil and sharon are a great couple after he chucked her out if you compare it to jack shutting ronnie out

  But surely if he loved Shirley that much, he'd be asking her to stay and either move back in with him or even marry him, not virtually saying 'please b*gger off to Greece with the contents of my safe, and never come back' becaise surely that it what moving on to a new life in Greece should be?'
  
  It sounds more to me that in a toss-up between having the money back and Shirley, or having Shirley move to another country after cleaning his safe outhe'd let her have the cash in a heartbeat.
  
  Hardly signs of a great love. How can he love her after she has stolen all the money he has? She is little more than a common thief.
  
  And if Carl does kill her, persumably he'll take the money anyway.
