I don't think it needs a movie, the plot doesn't exactly break any western conventions. Great game though, I probably spent more time on it than any other game this gen.

I got this game when it was released but never finished it. I've just started playing this and the undead dlc again . Just unlocked the 5 years in the making achievement, funniest achievement ive seen. This game is still as good now as when it eas first released, I'd love to see a sequel on next gen.
I didn't think there would be any players still online.
Played it for a bit when it was released free for PSN+ users, don't think it was as good as when previously released, but it still looks pretty good, just a shame there is such a lack of content within the game world.

Same, it's a great game but takes a bit to get into.

I kinda know where he's coming from, there's a lot of wide open areas with not much going on, Mexico in particular, but there's still a ridiculous amount of things to do in this game. So it's certainly not short on content. I'm loving chipping away at this again and I forgot just how much detail there is in the game world, it's crazy and it still has some of the nicest sunset/sunrises in any videogame.
IMO There would be no need for a Red Dead movie, this game has such high quality voice acting and story it's as good as any movie would be.
I got this game and it sat on my shelf for over a year before I really gave it a fair go. Once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. I loved the story line, and i think it qualifies as one of the best games ever on the 360.
No need for a movie, it couldn't add anything to the game, or to the western movie genre.
Films usually seem to change a game beyond recognition...
I remember being really disappointed in the Max Payne movie...it bore so little resemblance to Max Payne(1) that I dont know why they even bothered.
The problem in movies is trying to condense 20 or maybe more hours of game play into a couple of hours.
I think sometimes a TV series, would be better. Fallout 3 for eg, could get a whole series of 1 hour programs based on that game...

I am not sure I would be interested in a movie, but you never know if it was done well it could be amazing. A tv series might work, I would give that a try. I loved this game so much I was sad to finish it.

Absolutely love that game.
and 90% of movies are basically the bible with a find/ replace on the word jesus, why bother making any of them?
No star wars, no harry potter etc
No need.
The game IS a movie.
I still play it now. A little hunting now and then is very relaxing
Watch 'Hell on Wheels' it has a very Red Dead feel to it, the main character even looks a lot like John Marston.
I was in multiplayer last night, great fun.
Im thinking of a replay.

I love the Four Horses and the Unicorn.
Don't see the need for a film but another Red Dead game would be more than welcome

A lack of content in the game world?
You are kidding, right?

The graphics were amazing, there was plenty to do and the storyline was very gripping - if you care about characters that is.
