Would you do something like this with a dead relative?

Personally I wouldn't. I find the whole thing a bit creepy but each to their own I guess.

Wasn't there a thread last year about how the Victorians used to do this?

Each to their own but that's a bit weird to me, and having photos with a dead body is downright strange

Yes it's very much like that.

    Weird I think.

Is it the old man on a Harley in a glass box, or the young boxer? (I can't open the DM site on my PC, it causes it to freeze, and both stories were on it today.)

I think they're both awful, weird and creepy, but I suppose that's just me.

My opinion is that, unless it is something chosen by the deceased, then they should, as they say Rest in Peace. I feel slightly differently about those Victorian people who were photographed with their dead babies. They weren't able to share a life so they made a memory.

This one's about the boxer, I also read about the biker today. Bit weird if you ask me.

Each to their own. If that was his last request and he could afford it then of course I'd honour that.

Yes, I enjoyed that thread and so many posters had already seen the momento mori websites. The reasons for these photos in Victorian times totally made sense.
Not altogether sure of this one, but not for me to say.
