I would love to know if anyone has met Sean bean, he seems so nice and yet there appear to be anger issues with him...or not ?

he was on the One show the other week and he's so softly spoken - i couldnt imagine him getting rattled over anything but there's been some sharp intake of breath stories about his temper - i dont think i believe them.

anyone else think he looks like he could do with a haircut + shave?

Was a few rows behind him at a football match years ago. He seemed happy to sign autographs, though I didn't go and ask for one myself.

Yes really nice down to earth and friendly.

No airs and graces he was off duty in his private time.

My friend met him as well in a pub sat next to him and said he was lovely.

One does not simply meet Sean Bean.

    ...sorry, couldn't help myself.

We were at a Charity function in London which he supported. He was very charming and polite and made the winning bid in the Auction - and he then donated the prize.
I think he gets a lot of unfair bad press and I don't believe any of the nasty rumours.

I love this thread as I love Sean Bean. Glad he seems to be a nice bloke overall, despite his possible personal issues. Apart from a few circumstances...

My girlfriend's best mate's brother was really good friends with him, and they all still keep in touch and he does go out with him but less often now obviously

Why does one exclude the other? He might be a lovely person who just has a bit of a temper when he loses it. That's not unusal. People who lose their tempers occasionally are not necessarily bad people.

I've never met him though, so I don't know.

I was at this massive gig at Kings Landing, and he was there, but some blond idiot boy got him done in. Blood everywhere. Much worse than the last day of Creamfields being ruined.

Yes, many years ago when he was just starting out as an actor. Very humble and shy and a real sweetie.

I should go and lurk at the studio where Game of Thrones is made. I might get to meet him. They are filming now according to my OH.
