I always thought she was trying to portray Amy as the new jade goody type person

Not sure she's succeeded as Amy just comes across as a human blow up doll with the IQ of a cabbage and the charisma of herpes.

Though, apart from the blow up doll bit, you're not far wrong Betty :p

This made me laugh:D Any supportive tweets were probably deleted in a fit of rage.

    Yeah please do Sensei,

That T-Shirt pic made me laugh out loud, at first I thought, he'd taken a pair of scissors & cut the sleeves off but on closer inspection I see he's just turned the sleeves up as much humanly possible. Pete at his comedic best:D

    Cheers for the laughs guys!:)

pete does look as if he is trying too hard, Carl, natural pose with a hat, mike natural pose with glasses, pete, usual mag pose with hat and glasses! numpty

I wonder if CP has taken a big step back due to Pete's relationship with Emily because she's conscious of Katie's feelings that she'd interfered in their marriage and so doesn't want history repeating itself? She hasn't appeared that much in the show lately apart from the calendar shoot and the sunday roast that was supposedly being ruined because Pete was late (he only lives half an hour away so why not just phone him ysw?). Perhaps Pete is starting to be influenced more by Emily and her family now? Dr Ru got him involved with HIPZ so possibly he may have inspired the Foundation too. In practical terms she was probably needed more for the reality filming when Pete was single so she can concentrate more on her other clients now Emily is on the scene.

Just a shame he allowed her to be in his marriage so much..
I don't think CP gives a toss about anyone's feelings when it comes to business

Possibly, her absence in the last couple of series has been very noticeable, when PA & KP were together she was in nearly every scene, in fact I'm sure she even had holidays with them which I always found very strange & unhealthy for any relationship.
Personally I think Pete would be doing himself a massive favour in getting rid of CP/CAN (he could then be his own man & not the person CP has molded him into) & finding himself new management. I'm not clued up on these matters, maybe you can enlighten me.........Is he contracted to stay with CAN for a set period?
Just as a matter of interest, how did he meet Dr Ru, they don't seem as if they would mix in similar circles.

Good luck with that one then CP. I really think the 'I'm so fick me is France in Essex, is a carrot an animal?' ship has sailed.

I think CP, with regards to clients, the thicker the better, much easier for her to brainwash them into her way of thinking.

nah, if CP wanted to be there, she would. I think she is at CAN towers thinking of ways to keep her clients in the news, she seems to have passed the baby sitting duties to Gemma.

CP stuck to PA and KP to make sure that KP didn't get to have the last say in anything to do with PA, CP made sure she was always there to remind him who was in charge. Also if Nev was in charge of the old programme then CP got to see him as well...maybe the new programme makers have told her that she is surplus to requirements with her micromanaging of pete:D

HIPZ haven't given a final combined total yet but I'll post it up when they do. Pete's T-shirt customisations seemed to get more extreme as the ride progressed https://twitter.com/CarlMachin/status/345108673581948928/photo/1 :D

Dr Ru performed an emergency operation to remove his kidney stones when he was taken ill in the middle of a concert tour. Pete asked what he could do to repay him and he said give me a couple of concert tickets for your Plymouth gig and Emily and her Mum went along. They all stayed in touch from then on and the two families became friendly.

Sorry no idea about his CAN contract details. He's been with Claire for such a long part of his career so he probably feels a certain loyalty and I think it would take a lot to make him leave though I agree it would enable him to shake off the reality show image.

I do agree that it would be better for PA to disassociate himself with CAN.
The thing is, where else would he go?
His image is so inextricably linked with cheesy reality suffering that I do wonder if any other companies would want to work with him.
And would they be able to spend as much time with him as CP, stroking his ego and supervising his potty-training?

Thanks Sensei, now you've told me I do have a vague memory of PA being ill with kidney stones but wasn't aware of Dr Ru operating.

I would imagine PA feels loyal to CP but something tells me he would like to break away from her but Pete imo being so weak & CP a bit of a force to be reckoned with, he can't quite find the backbone to cut the ties.

Valid point AS, cruel but true:D

Tho maybe with a lot of coaxing, guidance etc from Emily he may start the process of standing on his own 2 feet, it'd be a long, arduous journey for him & Emily but the can you imagine the end result, we really would have a "Pete The New Chapter" showing him in a whole, new & assertive light!

My all time favourite moment involving his vanity was when he got that silly tattoo on his arm purely to accentuate his muscles!

I think he wants to be taken serious.. He needs to go to a decent agency who will steer him away from reality and kiss n tell stuff.. Someone who will guide him towards just doing his tv hosting stuff I.e 60min makeover

Oh come on. What decent agency is going to take DOTY on? It's amusing to read the comments saying he should walk away from CAN and get himself some proper representation, as if it's as simple as that.

Representation for what exactly? DOTYness? Not sure there's an agency specialising in that. Music? Erm, no, that ship left the harbour a long time ago. Presenting? Well, if he does a reasonable job on 60MM, then that might lead to other things but it was CAN that got him that, and that in itself is a pretty big achievement considering his presenting past. PA may be 'limited' but I think even he knows deep down which side his croissant is buttered on, and that were it not for CAN and CP's persistence, he would not even have the profile he has. Say what you like about CP - I know she's not popular around these parts but I have developed a strange affection for her (not unconnected with her reducing novel writing to transforming nonsense into 'book words' :D) - but she has proved that she can get blood from a stone. Pete is lucky to have her and I think Pete knows that and is more than happy with her.

Apart from the laughs & chats I get from this thread, it never fails me in taking on board opposing views, one minute I'm making what I think is a very valid point then 2 mins later I'm reading the exact opposite & thinking............."hmmm I see your point":confused:

He's always very vocal about how much he owes to the whole team for the opportunities they get for him but I think there may have been a few cracks appearing last year. Pete looked really angry when they scheduled signings in the middle of his tour rehearsals. It's interesting to see that CAN have recently started a specific music division and recruited someone with artist management experience to run it. I don't think his music career is over yet. He was starting to get some radio play for his last album and reviews were good but everything stopped after Andrew's death and they haven't released any singles from it yet which is a shame as there are some strong tracks on it. He's got some summer concerts scheduled so perhaps that will get things moving again.

Signs are looking good for 60MM and they're getting lots of local news coverage because fans turn out when they hear Pete's filming in the area so it's all good publicity for the show.

According to this http://primeretailproperty.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/property-week.pdf he's looking to expand the coffee chain with a London flagship and is 'very involved in the business'. He's also going to be launching the karate club chain with Paul and still has his GoWild deals business with Ange & Chris. Hopefully they'll be announcements about the Foundation soon - JLS showed you can raise a million pounds from a single event so if they get the Crystal Ball right he could meet his target from that alone. But they've also got a base of fundraising volunteers and some are already doing sponsored events and coffee mornings etc.

So he's got plenty going on but my concern with CAN is that their clients get spread so thinly on lots of promotions rather than focussing on their core interests but perhaps that's where the money lies. An 11 part reality series is a lot for anyone to fill though and Emily should be concentrating on her finals and the kids kept out of the public eye.
