Sainsbury's is renaming its tiger bread after a letter a three-year-old girl wrote to the company, saying the bread looked more like a giraffe, went viral.
In May 2011, Lily Robinson wrote to the supermarket, suggesting that the bread should be called giraffe bread.
This is an example of excellent customer service and Chris King (aged 27 & 1/3) is a legend

And she's right...it is more like giraffes!
I was curious about this in the other thread. Most including myself thought that the letter read as a parent typing as if they were a 3 year old and not the 3 year old who wrote it.
Yeah - I don't think they're actually changing the name.
Yeah and the whole saaaaainnsssburrrys thing too. that's just annoying.

Aye, very much so. In the other thread I had finally convinced myself that there was no 3 year old and the person did it to get the £3 voucher :D
Only one way to find out?
But had no trouble with the fraction.
marketing masquerading as news?
He agreed and said it was the most popular.
Personally I think Giraffe Bread is silly-billy-silly, sorry Lily.
Horrible, pappy, baby food bread. Yuck. I don't care what it's called.
Anyway I can smell a "marketing" hand in this story.
