  I wouldn't axe any EE characters, if I was DTC I would put a bomb under the scriptwriters and tell them to get their fingers out and write some decent storylines or THEY will be axed!

  Dexter - He's whiny and serves no real purpose. After that group hug there was no turning back.
  Shirley - A few years ago she was a self pitying drunk who chased Phil. Nothing has changed and the character has stagnated and become predictable.
  Lauren - I still feel as though I'm not watching Lauren but Jacqueline Jossa playing the role of Lauren. I get the same impression watching any movie with Tom Cruise.
  
  Emmerdale
  James and Ross Barton - After the Adam storyline concludes James will be a spare part. Robbie is a poor man's Cain.
  Robbie - He's hard to figure out but not interesting enough to make the effort.
  Val - Treats people like garbage and everyone still panders to her.
  I almost included Maurel but I think the characters are still salvageable if they split up.

  How would you know if Ronnie is permanently? She's only on a break at the moment then she's coming back in August she May have this baby and be on the the square for 20 years

  I never tire of this game! I only watch Eastenders and Corrie so for me it would be;
  
  Eastenders:
  Alfie Moon - kill him so there's no chance of a return.
  Dexter - send him to live with Ava.
  Dot - she has become a caricature, time to go.
  
  Corrie.
  Sean - worst actor in soap and a one dimensional stereotype of a character.
  Mary - not funny in the slightest.
  Sophie - can't act to save her life. Maybe send her away and bring her back with a new head.
  
  There are plenty more who get on my nerves but those are the main offenders.

  Keep carol till Liam was 18 then kill her off.
  
  The rest of the cast is fairly solid. I'd bring back Vicki and Chrissie. Kill grant off off-screen. Add a new Chinese/Somali family. Bang-boom perfect cast. Use the extra money from not replacing cast members to hire back Sarah phelps and get tony Jordan as consultant.
