Katy Perry again - October
Really want to get tickets for Bon Jovi & Bryan Adams too!
I would have loved to have gone to see Lifehouse as they are brilliant, but I'm going to see Black Label Society in Bristol the same night they are on in Birmingham!
So it's a for seeing BLS
But a for missing Lifehouse!
Got tickets today to see Hurts at Somerset House, 14th of July. First gig of the year, none of the acts I like have toured yet, bit annoying! I do hope we get a Paloma tour this year, I love seeing her live, such a amazing, creative lady.
Can't remember when I last updated my gig list but now have tickets for the mighty Ryan Adams @ The Barbican (swoooooon) and a Saturday Reading ticket to see The Strokes and The National
Anyone snapped up gig/festival tickets for 2011 yet?
At the moment, I have tickets for:
Roxy Music @ The O2 - Feb
ATP @ Minehead - May (curated by Animal Collective)
Take That @ Manchester City Stadium - June
Bright Eyes @ Royal Albert Hall - June
O2 Wireless/Pulp @ Hyde Park - July
ATP @ Alexandra Palace - July (curated by Portishead)
I think I'd like to get End of the Road tickets, and Reading Festival (depending on lineup) too. We'll see...
Just bought tickets for Iron & Wine @ The Roundhouse in March - I can't seem to help myself clicking 'purchase'
Definitely a good year for gigs!
Further to this, I've also seen this year:
Pete Doherty @ Shepherds Bush
Metronomy, The Horrors and Yuck @ Hyde Park
Seasick Steve, Madness, The National and The Strokes @ Reading Festival (Sat only)
Coming up, I have:
Death From Above 1979 @ Brixton Academy
Bon Iver @ Hammersmith Apollo
Ryan Adams @ Union Chapel
Panda Bear @ Electric Ballroom
I've spent so much £££ on tickets this year. I have to stop!
Europe at O2 Academy Newcastle
Kate Nash at the Cluny
Paul Rodgers at the Arena in Newcastle
Adam Ant at O2 Academy
Journey/Foreigner/Styx at the Arena
Iron Maiden at the Arena
Coming up I've got...
Puddle of Mudd/Soil in Middlesbrough 19/10
The Darkness in Newcastle 12/11
Red Hot Chili Peppers in Birmingham 20/11
Alter Bridge/Black Stone Cherry 27/11
Managed to get a ticket for Lady Antebellum at Union Chapel next week. Other than that got Lynn Miles at Twickenham folk club this Sunday and KT Tunstall coming up. Nothing else booked for the rest of the year but something may well come along.
